Full job description

Job Title: Unreal Engine Game Developer cum Mentor

Location: Kerala (On-site)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Kerala Based Unreal Engine Game Developer cum Mentor who enjoys both developing games and mentoring aspiring game developers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Unreal Engine, excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to guide students through real-world game development projects.

Experience

6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in Unreal Engine game development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality games and interactive experiences using Unreal Engine 5.
Design and implement gameplay systems using Blueprints and/or C++.
Mentor students through project-based learning and practical assignments.
Conduct technical sessions, workshops, and code reviews.
Assist students in building portfolio-quality game projects.
Stay updated with the latest Unreal Engine features and industry trends.
Collaborate with the academic and development teams to improve course content.
Participate in internal game development and R&D activities.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine 5.
Good understanding of Blueprint Visual Scripting.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of C++.
Understanding of game mechanics, level design, UI systems, animation, and optimization.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring game developers.

Leadership Qualities

Ability to lead small student teams and guide project execution.
Positive attitude with a collaborative mindset.
Strong ownership and accountability.
Ability to motivate, inspire, and support learners.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
