ABOUT THE ROLE

Northern Solvents Private Limited is looking for an experienced and hands-on Manager Procurement & Administration to take overall responsibility for the company's centralized administration, procurement and operational requirements.

The role will consolidate requirements from the corporate office, manufacturing plant and management and ensure that purchases, administration, vendors, logistics, facilities, machinery requirements, trade fairs and other operational activities are properly planned, coordinated and executed.

This is a highly ownership-driven role for someone who can independently manage team, vendors, purchases and multiple requirements simultaneously.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Admin and Coordination:

1. Take overall ownership of centralized administration, procurement and operational requirements for the corporate office and plant.

2. Lead and manage the administration, purchase and support team, including allocation of responsibilities, monitoring work and ensuring timely completion.

3. Manage office and plant administrative requirements including maintenance, lighting, electrical work, furniture, fixtures and other facility requirements.

4. Handle property-related requirements, including coordination for renting/leasing company sheds or premises and related commercial negotiations.

5. Identify operational requirements proactively and ensure that pending activities are followed up and closed.

6. Ensure that the team follows proper processes, documentation and approval procedures for purchases and administrative activities.

7. Act as the central point of coordination between management, plant, office, vendors and the internal support team.

Procurement:

1. Consolidate requirements received from different departments, teams and management and prioritize them based on business needs.

2. Manage end-to-end procurement including vendor identification, quotations, comparisons, negotiations, Purchase Orders, delivery and closure.

3. Handle procurement of machinery, equipment, electrical items, plant requirements, office requirements and various services.

4. Negotiate with suppliers, contractors and service providers on pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, warranties and other commercial terms.

5. Develop and maintain a reliable vendor network and evaluate vendors based on cost, quality, delivery and service.

Supply Chain:

1. Coordinate machinery delivery, installation, commissioning, servicing and after-sales support.

2. Manage domestic and international trade fair requirements, including stall setup, fabricators, branding, furniture, logistics and vendor coordination.

3. Coordinate export logistics, transportation, dispatches and other operational requirements with relevant service providers.

REQUIREMENTS

1. 8–15 years of relevant experience in Administration, Procurement, Purchase, Commercial Operations, Project Coordination or a similar function in Manufacturing setup.

2. Practical exposure to machinery, equipment, engineering items, industrial procurement or facility-related purchases will be preferred.

3. Strong understanding of quotations, comparative statements, Purchase Orders and commercial documentation.

4. Excellent planning, coordination, follow-up and execution skills.

5. Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Google sheets, Zoho/ CRM and other basic office tools.

6. Exposure to machinery procurement, industrial purchases, logistics, trade fairs, facilities and commercial operations.

7. Should be based in Jaipur.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Candidates from PEB Engineering, EPC, Infrastructure, Engineering Projects, Project Implementation, Industrial Projects, Engineering Procurement, Commercial functions or Industrial Manufacturing may be particularly suitable for this position.
