Position: HR Manager
Experience: Minimum 4 Years
Qualification: MBA in HR / Human Resources preferred
Industry: Textile / Retail – Preferred
Location: Palakkad
Reports To: Management / Director

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee and coordinate HR operations across approximately 6 branches. The role will be responsible for recruitment, performance management, training and development, employee engagement, HR operations, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Multi-Branch HR Coordination

Manage and coordinate HR activities across approximately 6 branches.
Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures across all locations.
Coordinate with Branch Managers and Department Heads regarding HR requirements.
Monitor attendance, leave, discipline, and employee-related matters.
Conduct regular branch visits and identify HR-related concerns.

2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

Handle end-to-end recruitment for various positions across branches.
Coordinate manpower requirements with Branch Managers and Management.
Source, screen, interview, and select suitable candidates.
Maintain recruitment pipelines and ensure timely closure of vacancies.
Support workforce planning based on business requirements.

3. Performance Management System (PMS)

Implement and manage the Performance Management System across branches.
Coordinate goal setting, KRAs/KPIs, performance reviews, and appraisals.
Monitor employee performance and provide performance-related insights.
Identify performance gaps and coordinate improvement plans.
Support management in promotion, increment, and performance-related decisions.

4. Training & Development

Identify training and development needs across branches.
Plan and coordinate employee training and development programs.
Coordinate induction and onboarding programs for new employees.
Monitor training participation and effectiveness.
Support employee career development initiatives.

5. Employee Engagement & Relations

Maintain positive employee relations across all branches.
Address employee grievances, concerns, and workplace issues.
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
Support employee retention and motivation strategies.
Promote a positive, professional, and productive work culture.

6. HR Operations & Compliance

Ensure proper maintenance of employee records and HR documentation.
Monitor attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and other HR-related data.
Ensure timely completion of joining, confirmation, transfer, promotion, and exit processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures.

7. HR Reporting & MIS

Prepare regular HR reports and branch-wise HR updates for Management.
Monitor manpower strength, recruitment status, attrition, attendance, and performance.
Maintain accurate HR records and MIS reports.
Provide HR insights and recommendations to Management for decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 4 years of relevant HR experience.
MBA in HR / Human Resources or a related field preferred.
Experience in textile, retail, or multi-branch operations preferred.
Experience in managing HR operations across multiple branches/locations.
Strong knowledge of recruitment, PMS, training & development, employee relations, and HR operations.
Good understanding of HR policies and labour law compliance.
Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with Branch Managers, Department Heads, and Management.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS is preferred.
Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with 4+ years of HR experience, particularly those who have handled HR operations for textile or retail organizations with multiple branches, will be given preference. Candidates with an MBA in HR and strong experience in PMS, recruitment, training, and multi-branch HR coordination are encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
