Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and streamline the company's overall construction operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry and be responsible for managing multiple projects, optimizing operational processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and driving projects to successful completion within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end operational activities across multiple construction projects.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, Consultants, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Develop and implement operational strategies, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and overall project performance.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
Review project progress reports and provide strategic guidance to project teams.
Manage procurement planning, material availability, equipment utilization, and vendor coordination.
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, building codes, environmental standards, and workplace safety requirements.
Monitor project costs, profitability, and operational KPIs.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate Project Managers, Site Engineers, and operational staff.
Resolve operational challenges and support decision-making to maintain project momentum.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Operations Management within the construction industry (Mandatory).
Proven experience managing residential, commercial, or infrastructure construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project execution, procurement, budgeting, and resource planning.
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent knowledge of contract management, quality assurance, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Excel, ERP systems, and project management software.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
