Full job description

We are looking for an Operations Executive to support loan processing, customer on boarding, documentation, disbursement coordination, compliance activities, and operational reporting.

The position requires strong attention to detail, effective customer coordination, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely completion of lending operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Loan Application Processing

· Receive, review, and process customer loan applications.

· Verify that application forms and supporting documents are complete and accurate.

· Coordinate with customers to obtain missing information or documentation.

· Update application status in the loan management system.

· Ensure applications are processed within the prescribed turnaround time.

2. Customer Onboarding and Verification

· Support customer onboarding and account-creation activities.

· Verify identity, address, income, banking, and other relevant documents.

· Complete KYC and customer due-diligence requirements.

· Coordinate field verification or additional verification whenever required.

· Maintain accurate and updated customer records.

3. Documentation and Record Management

· Prepare and maintain loan files, agreements, sanction letters, repayment schedules, and other operational documents.

· Ensure that all documents are properly executed before disbursement.

· Maintain physical and digital records in accordance with document-retention requirements.

· Protect the confidentiality and security of customer and financial information.

· Support retrieval of records for audits and internal reviews.

4. Disbursement Coordination

· Verify completion of pre-disbursement conditions.

· Coordinate with credit, finance, legal, and other departments for timely disbursement.

· Confirm bank details and approved loan terms before processing.

· Update disbursement details and communicate the status to customers.

· Ensure that no disbursement is processed without the required approvals.

5. Repayment and Account Support

· Maintain repayment schedules and loan-account information.

· Support reconciliation of repayments and customer accounts.

· Coordinate with customers regarding repayment dates, outstanding amounts, and account-related queries.

· Escalate payment discrepancies, overdue cases, or system issues to the appropriate team.

· Assist with loan closure and no-dues documentation.

6. Compliance Support

· Follow RBI guidelines, KYC and AML requirements, fair-practice standards, and internal policies.

· Ensure compliance checklists are completed for every application.

· Report unusual transactions, document discrepancies, or suspected fraud.

· Support internal, statutory, and regulatory audits.

· Assist in closing audit observations and documentation gaps.

7. Customer Service

· Respond professionally to customer enquiries regarding applications, documentation, disbursements, and repayments.

· Provide regular and accurate updates on application status.

· Record and coordinate the resolution of customer complaints.

· Ensure customer information is communicated clearly and transparently.

· Contribute to timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.

8. MIS and Operational Reporting

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

· Maintain trackers covering applications, pending documents, approvals, disbursements, repayments, and closures.

· Ensure data entered into systems and reports is accurate.

· Highlight delays, exceptions, and operational risks to the reporting manager.

· Support management with required operational data and analysis.

Key Performance Indicators

· Loan-processing turnaround time

· Accuracy and completeness of documentation

· Number of applications processed

· Timeliness of customer onboarding

· Disbursement-processing accuracy

· Compliance with KYC and internal controls

· MIS accuracy and timely submission

· Pending-document closure

· Customer-query resolution time

· Audit and documentation-error rate

Qualification and Experience

· Graduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.

· One to three years of experience in an NBFC, bank, fintech, digital-lending company, or financial-services organisation is preferred.

· Basic understanding of loan processing, documentation, KYC, and financial operations.

· Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong aptitude may also be considered based on organisational requirements.

· Good computer knowledge, including MS Excel, Word, and email

· Strong documentation and data-entry skills

· Good verbal and written communication

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Willingness to learn digital lending and loan-management systems

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month

Experience:

NBFC- Operations : 1 year (Preferred)
