1. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Domestic Admissions Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the domestic student admissions function of AE Global Group. The role will involve driving student enrolments across Indian universities/institutions, managing the admissions counselling team, ensuring effective lead conversion, developing institutional partnerships, and achieving monthly and annual admission targets.
The candidate will be expected to take ownership of the complete admission funnel — Lead Generation → Enquiry → Counselling → Application → Follow-up → Admission Confirmation → Fee Collection → Enrolment.
The role requires a strong combination of sales leadership, student counselling, team management, relationship building, process management and target achievement.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Admissions & Student Recruitment
- Manage the complete domestic admissions cycle from enquiry to confirmed enrolment.
- Drive student admissions for undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and other relevant programmes.
- Understand and communicate course details, eligibility, fees, scholarships, career opportunities and admission procedures.
- Personally handle high-value, difficult or priority student/parent enquiries.
- Ensure effective follow-up with prospective students and parents.
- Drive enquiry-to-application and application-to-admission conversions.
- Ensure all admissions are completed within prescribed deadlines.
B. Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, supervise and mentor the Domestic Admissions Counselling Team.
- Allocate leads among counsellors based on capability and workload.
- Set individual and team-wise admission targets.
- Monitor daily calling, counselling, follow-ups, applications and conversions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide corrective feedback.
- Identify underperforming team members and implement improvement plans.
- Train counsellors on counselling techniques, objection handling, follow-up and closing.
- Build a target-driven and accountable admissions culture.
C. Lead Management & Conversion
- Monitor the complete lead funnel and ensure no lead remains unattended.
- Establish proper follow-up schedules for hot, warm and cold leads.
- Analyse lead sources and conversion ratios.
- Improve lead-to-counselling, counselling-to-application and application-to-admission conversion rates.
- Ensure timely updating of all lead and admission information in the CRM/Google Sheets or designated system.
- Identify reasons for lost leads and implement corrective strategies.
D. Counselling & Parent Engagement
- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions with students and parents.
- Understand student requirements, academic background, career aspirations and budget.
- Recommend appropriate programmes and institutions based on student requirements.
- Handle objections relating to fees, location, course selection, career prospects and competition.
- Maintain strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
- Ensure a professional and positive student experience.
E. Institutional & Channel Partnerships
- Develop and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, coaching institutes, educational consultants and other student-referral channels.
- Identify opportunities for institutional tie-ups and student recruitment partnerships.
- Coordinate school/college visits, seminars, career counselling sessions, education fairs and admission drives.
- Build a strong domestic student recruitment network.
- Explore new geographical markets and admission channels for business expansion.
F. Marketing & Outreach
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to plan admission campaigns and student acquisition activities.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, career counselling events and promotional activities.
- Suggest new admission campaigns based on market trends and student demand.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for lead-generation activities.
- Provide feedback on programme demand, competitor activities and student preferences.
G. Application & Documentation Management
- Ensure applications are processed accurately and within deadlines.
- Monitor student documentation, eligibility verification and application status.
- Coordinate with universities/institutions for application-related requirements.
- Ensure students receive timely updates regarding application status, selection, admission offers and payment requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, admissions and enrolments.
H. Reporting & MIS
Prepare and submit regular reports covering:
- Daily lead status
- Counsellor-wise calling and follow-up
- Counsellor-wise conversion
- Applications submitted
- Admissions confirmed
- Fee collections
- Pending admissions
- Lost leads
- Lead-source performance
- Monthly target vs. achievement
- Team performance
- Institutional/channel-wise admissions
The manager will be responsible for providing data-driven insights and recommendations to management for improving admissions performance.

J. QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline is mandatory.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Education Management or a related field will be preferred.
- Additional certification in counselling, sales or education management will be an advantage.
K. EXPERIENCE
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in:
- Education admissions

- Minimum 1–2 years of team-management experience preferred.
- Proven experience of achieving admission/sales targets will be strongly preferred.

N. ROLE EXPECTATION
The Domestic Admissions Manager will not only be responsible for managing the admissions team but will be expected to actively contribute to admissions generation and conversion.
The position is a target-driven managerial role, where success will be measured by the ability to build a strong admissions pipeline, improve conversion ratios, develop recruitment channels and consistently achieve assigned admission and revenue targets.
The ideal candidate should be a hands-on leader who can manage people, counsel students, close admissions, build partnerships and drive the overall growth of the Domestic Admissions vertical.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
