The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, conducting client meetings, preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and closing deals.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication, presentation, research, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. They must be capable of selling technology, marketing, influencer, web, and video-production services to premium clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation and Prospecting
- Identify potential clients across India and international markets.
- Research companies, decision-makers, brands, agencies, startups, and corporate organisations.
- Generate leads through LinkedIn, email, referrals, networking, calls, events, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain a database of qualified prospects.
- Focus on industries such as automotive, fashion, beauty, healthcare, hospitality, education, entertainment, retail, real estate, and consumer brands.
Client Meetings and Requirement Analysis
- Schedule and conduct discovery calls and client meetings.
- Understand the client’s business, challenges, budget, timeline, and expected outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for application development, web development, influencer marketing, video production, and digital marketing.
- Coordinate with the internal technical, creative, production, influencer, and accounts teams to develop the right solution.
Proposal and Pitch Management
- Prepare customised proposals, presentations, quotations, and scope-of-work documents.
- Present company capabilities, case studies, service packages, and campaign ideas.
- Coordinate with the design team to create professional pitch decks.
- Ensure that all proposals clearly define deliverables, timelines, commercial terms, and payment schedules.
- Follow up systematically on every proposal submitted.
Sales and Deal Closure
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Negotiate pricing, scope, timelines, payment terms, and contractual conditions.
- Close profitable projects while protecting the company’s margins.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Ensure that agreements, advance payments, and required documents are collected before project commencement.
CRM and Pipeline Management
- Record all leads, meetings, follow-ups, proposals, and sales activities in the company CRM.
- Maintain accurate and updated opportunity stages.
- Prepare weekly sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Track lead-to-meeting, meeting-to-proposal, and proposal-to-client conversion rates.
- Ensure no qualified lead is lost due to missed follow-ups.
Client Relationship and Account Growth
- Build long-term relationships with clients and decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities for retainers, maintenance contracts, campaigns, and additional services.
- Coordinate a proper handover of confirmed projects to the operations team.
- Maintain communication with clients after project closure for feedback, referrals, renewals, and upselling.
- Support the management team in handling premium and strategic client accounts.
Market Research and Partnerships
- Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and new business opportunities.
- Identify strategic partnerships with agencies, consultants, production houses, influencers, technology companies, and industry professionals.
- Recommend new products, service packages, and revenue opportunities based on client demand.
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, exhibitions, and business meetings.
Daily Responsibilities
- Research and add a minimum of 10–15 qualified prospects.
- Contact relevant decision-makers through personalised outreach.
- Complete scheduled follow-ups with active leads.
- Conduct client meetings and discovery calls.
- Update all sales activities in the CRM.
- Coordinate proposals and quotations with internal teams.
- Share an end-of-day sales activity report.
Weekly Responsibilities
- Generate qualified business meetings.
- Present proposals to potential clients.
- Review all active opportunities and follow-ups.
- Submit a weekly sales pipeline and revenue forecast.
- Share competitor and market observations.
- Coordinate with delivery teams regarding project feasibility and estimation.

Compensation
- Fixed monthly salary based on experience and capability

Important Conditions

- No pricing or commercial commitment should be made without internal approval.

- The employee must maintain confidentiality regarding client data, pricing, proposals, and company information.
