Content and community are central to our growth strategy. We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive who can help us systematically build, distribute, optimize, and grow our digital presence across platforms while helping convert educational content into meaningful audience engagement.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Executive who understands both the creative and technical aspects of social media growth.

The role combines:

Social media management
YouTube channel operations
Community engagement
Content distribution
Short-form content packaging
Basic editing and graphic creation
Analytics and performance optimization

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with content teams, video editors, and marketing teams while taking ownership of platform growth and engagement.

Knowledge of Bengali is essential as a significant portion of our audience is Bengali-speaking.

Key Responsibilities

A. YouTube Channel Management

Manage and optimize IND's YouTube channels.

Responsibilities include:

Uploading videos and shorts
Writing SEO-friendly titles
Writing compelling descriptions
Creating and formatting timestamps
Creating chapter structures
Adding end screens
Adding cards (iCards)
Linking related videos and playlists
Organizing playlists
Managing channel branding
Scheduling video releases
Monitoring content performance

B. YouTube Growth & Analytics

Monitor and improve channel performance through data-driven decision-making.

Track:

Watch time
Audience retention
Click-through rate (CTR)
Subscriber growth
Traffic sources
Engagement metrics
Returning viewers

Generate actionable insights and recommend improvements.

Use YouTube Studio extensively for channel management and performance tracking.

C. YouTube Community Management

Manage YouTube Community posts
Respond to comments where appropriate
Encourage engagement and discussion
Identify audience interests and feedback trends
Support audience retention initiatives

D. Social Media Platform Management

Manage and grow IND's presence across:

Facebook
Instagram
YouTube
LinkedIn
X (Twitter)
WhatsApp Channels and Groups

Responsibilities include:

Content publishing
Scheduling
Engagement monitoring
Community interactions
Profile optimization
Audience growth initiatives

E. Content Scheduling & Distribution

Maintain content calendars
Schedule content across platforms
Coordinate with content creators and media team
Ensure timely posting and campaign support
Repurpose long-form content into platform-specific formats

F. Caption Writing & Copywriting

Create:

Post captions
Reels descriptions
Video descriptions
Community posts
LinkedIn posts
Short promotional copy

Ability to write engaging content in both English and Bengali is preferred.

G. Shorts & Reels Packaging

Strong advantage if candidate can:

Edit short-form videos
Create Reels and Shorts
Identify hook-worthy moments
Add captions and subtitles
Create engaging visual pacing
Optimize videos for retention

Experience with CapCut or equivalent tools is desirable.

H. Graphic Design Support

Create and edit:

Thumbnails
Social media creatives
Quote cards
Announcement posts
Story graphics

Using tools such as:

Canva
Photoshop (advantage)
AI-assisted design platforms

I. WhatsApp Engagement Support

Assist in WhatsApp broadcasts
Manage campaign messaging
Coordinate drip communication campaigns
Support engagement initiatives

J. AI-Assisted Content Operations

Use AI tools to improve:

Caption generation
Content ideation
Hashtag research
Content repurposing
Workflow efficiency
Audience research

Candidates should demonstrate curiosity toward emerging AI tools and their practical application.

Required Skills & Competencies

Must-Have

Minimum 1–3 years relevant experience
Strong familiarity with YouTube Studio
Understanding of Facebook and Instagram management
Understanding of LinkedIn and X (Twitter)
Ability to write effective captions and social media copy
