Role Summary

We are seeking a self-driven and result-oriented Business Development Assistant Manager to develop B2B and institutional business through field visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, trials, commercial follow-ups, and strategic client engagement. The role owns the sales cycle from prospect identification and qualification through quotation, trial coordination, order closure, repeat business, and payment follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

· Generate qualified business opportunities through field visits, referrals, networking, direct outreach, industrial visits, exhibitions, conferences, and institutional meetings.

· Promote REINSTE’s specialty nanomaterials, functional coatings, industrial protective coatings, surface-protection products, and advanced-material solutions.

· Understand client applications and conduct suitable product presentations, technical discussions, demonstrations, site assessments, and trial coordination.

· Identify and engage decision-makers, including purchase managers, technical heads, consultants, facility managers, laboratory leaders, project teams, and business owners.

· Develop and maintain a structured sales pipeline covering prospects, meetings, requirements, samples, trials, quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, collections, and repeat business.

· Convert enquiries into qualified requirements, quotations, product trials, purchase orders, and long-term accounts.

· Coordinate with technical, R&D, accounts, logistics, and operations teams to ensure accurate proposals, timely supplies, trial support, and project execution.

· Negotiate commercial terms within approved authority and obtain internal approval for prices, discounts, credit terms, commitments, or non-standard conditions.

· Follow up professionally for order closure, payment collection, repeat orders, and customer satisfaction.

· Track competitor activity, customer needs, emerging applications, sector trends, and territory opportunities.

· Maintain accurate CRM records, visit reports, sales forecasts, expense documentation, and weekly/monthly performance reports.

· Travel across assigned territories and represent the company professionally at client locations and industry events.

Required Skills

· Ability to understand technical products and translate features into application-specific customer value

· Strong prospecting, lead qualification, presentation, negotiation, objection handling, and order-closing skills

· Professional written and verbal communication in English and Hindi

· Relationship management with technical, purchase, administrative, and senior decision-making stakeholders

· Working knowledge of CRM systems, Excel, quotations, sales forecasting, and reporting

· Commercial awareness, payment follow-up discipline, and attention to documentation

· Self-management, ownership, target orientation, and willingness to travel extensively

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with relevant sales experience in one or more of the following sectors will be preferred:

· Specialty chemicals and industrial consumables

· Paints, specialty coatings, and surface treatment

· Nanotechnology and advanced materials

· Medical, healthcare, hygiene, or infection-control products

· HVAC products and facility-management solutions

· EV, automotive, and manufacturing solutions

· Scientific equipment, laboratory products, or institutional technical supplies

Educational Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline is preferred, including:

· B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field

· M.Sc. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Polymer Science, or a related discipline

· MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Sales

· Paint Technology, Surface Coatings, or another relevant technical specialisation

· Professional in client communication and capable of building long-term institutional relationships

· Practical, disciplined, ethical, and responsive when coordinating across internal teams

Compensation and Benefits

· Fixed monthly salary of INR 20,000-50,000, based on relevant experience and interview performance
