Full job description

We are seeking a proactive and confident Sales Development Representative (SDR) to engage prospective customers in the United States through outbound calling and schedule discovery meetings for the Tarams sales team. Tarams will provide everything required for your success, including the prospect database, PowerDialler, sales scripts, email templates, sales collateral, training, and ongoing support. Your primary responsibility is to make outbound calls, engage prospects professionally, and generate successful discovery meetings. This role requires working during US business hours (night shift in India). Responsibilities

● Generate a minimum of four (4) successful discovery meetings per month.

● Conduct approximately 500–600 outbound calls per day using the assigned prospect list through PowerDialler.

● Engage prospective customers using the approved sales script.

● Introduce Tarams' services, understand prospect interest, and handle basic objections professionally.

● Schedule discovery meetings with interested prospects.

● Send approved follow-up emails to interested prospects on the same business day.

● Record all call outcomes, meeting status, and relevant notes accurately in the shared tracking system on a daily basis.

● Complete all committed callbacks and follow-up activities within the agreed timelines.

● Share recurring customer objections, market feedback, and campaign insights during team reviews to support continuous improvement.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI) The primary measure of success for this role is:

● Generate a minimum of four (4) successful discovery meetings per month. A successful discovery meeting is one where the prospect attends the scheduled meeting and actively participates in the discussion with the Tarams team.

● Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

● Clear, neutral English accent.

● Comfortable speaking with business professionals in the United States.

● Willingness to work during US business hours (night shift in India).

● Strong interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills.

Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily.

● Good organizational and time management skills.

● Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established processes.

● Basic knowledge of CRM tools, Google Workspace, or sales tracking systems is preferred. ● Self-motivated, resilient, disciplined, and target-oriented.

● Prior experience in telecalling, inside sales, lead generation, appointment setting, or business development is an advantage.

Success in This Role:

A successful SDR consistently represents Tarams professionally, engages prospective customers with confidence, and generates successful discovery meetings that contribute to the company's sales pipeline.
