About the Role
Jewel Child Development Centre is looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Behaviour Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, and other behavioral and developmental conditions, implementing evidence-based interventions to improve communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, adaptive behavior, and independence.
You will collaborate with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Special Educators, Clinical Psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, child-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments under the guidance of senior clinicians where applicable.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Deliver one-on-one and group behavior therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
- Teach communication, social, adaptive, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.
- Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress.
- Modify intervention strategies based on clinical outcomes and supervision.
- Educate and guide parents on behavior management techniques and home programs.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in case discussions, staff meetings, training programs, and continuous professional development.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Applied Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification or training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or behavior therapy is an added advantage.
- Freshers with a passion for working with children and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with experience in pediatric intervention or child development settings will have an added advantage.
