About Nirman Academy
Nirman Academy is a professional design education institution focused on developing industry-ready Architects, Interior Designers and Design Professionals through practical, technology-driven and industry-oriented education.
We are looking for a highly responsible, proactive and result-oriented Centre In-Charge to take complete ownership of the day-to-day operations and overall development of our Calicut Centre.
This is a key leadership position for someone who can take responsibility, manage people, maintain professional standards, drive student admissions and promotions, and continuously improve the performance of the centre.
The ideal candidate should be someone who does not wait to be instructed for every task, but takes ownership, identifies what needs to be done and ensures that it is completed properly and on time.
Key Responsibilities1. Overall Centre Management
- Take complete responsibility for the smooth and professional functioning of the Calicut Centre.
- Ensure that all day-to-day activities of the centre are properly planned, coordinated and executed.
- Maintain a professional, disciplined and positive environment for students and staff.
- Ensure that all centre procedures, policies and operational standards are properly followed.
- Monitor the overall functioning of the centre and proactively address operational issues.
- Ensure that commitments made to students, parents, staff and management are properly followed through.
- Maintain proper documentation, records, schedules and reports.
- Coordinate with the management and provide regular updates on centre activities and performance.
2. Team Management & Leadership
- Effectively manage and coordinate the entire centre team, including faculty, counsellors, administrative staff and support staff.
- Clearly communicate responsibilities, expectations and targets to team members.
- Monitor staff performance, punctuality, discipline and productivity.
- Ensure that classes, counselling, administrative activities and other centre operations happen as scheduled.
- Support and motivate team members to achieve their responsibilities and targets.
- Identify performance gaps and take timely corrective action in coordination with management.
- Build a positive, collaborative and professional team culture.
3. Student & Academic Coordination
- Ensure the smooth delivery of academic activities and student services.
- Coordinate with faculty to ensure classes, assignments, projects, reviews and other academic activities are conducted effectively.
- Monitor student attendance, engagement, satisfaction and overall experience.
- Address student and parent concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain strong communication with students and parents where required.
- Ensure that the centre consistently maintains the academic and service standards of Nirman Academy.
4. Admissions & Business Development
- Take an active role in driving student admissions and centre growth.
- Work closely with the admissions/counselling team to achieve enrolment targets.
- Monitor enquiries, follow-ups, conversions and admission pipelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve enquiry-to-admission conversion.
- Develop and implement local initiatives to increase awareness and student enquiries.
- Build relationships with schools, colleges, professionals, industry contacts and other relevant networks.
- Explore opportunities for seminars, workshops, career guidance programmes and promotional activities that can generate student enquiries.
- Track centre performance against agreed targets and take corrective measures where required.
5. Marketing & Promotions
- Plan and coordinate local marketing and promotional activities for the Calicut Centre.
- Work with the central marketing/management team to execute campaigns effectively.
- Identify relevant local opportunities for brand visibility and student acquisition.
- Coordinate seminars, workshops, exhibitions, events and other promotional activities.
- Ensure that the centre's promotional activities are executed professionally and consistently.
- Suggest new ideas and initiatives to improve the visibility and growth of the centre.
- Monitor the effectiveness of promotional activities and provide feedback to management.
6. Centre Growth & Development
- Take ownership of the long-term development and performance of the Calicut Centre.
- Identify areas where the centre can improve academically, operationally and commercially.
- Recommend and implement new initiatives that can improve student experience and centre performance.
- Continuously look for opportunities to introduce new programmes, workshops, events and industry-oriented activities.
- Stay aware of local market trends, competitor activities and student requirements.
- Work with management to take the centre to the next level of growth and professional development.
7. Reporting & Accountability
- Prepare and submit regular reports on:
- Admissions and enquiries
- Student strength and attendance
- Faculty and staff performance
- Academic activities
- Marketing and promotional activities
- Centre expenses and operational requirements
- Student feedback and issues
- Overall centre performance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Ensure that assigned targets, responsibilities and deadlines are met.
- Take full accountability for the tasks and responsibilities assigned to the centre.

The candidate should be capable of independently managing the centre's day-to-day functioning while keeping the management informed and aligned with the overall goals of Nirman Academy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in centre management, operations, education management, sales, business development, administration or a related role preferred.
- Experience in an educational institution, training centre, design institute or professional academy will be an advantage.
- Previous experience managing a team is preferred.
- Candidates with strong experience in admissions, sales, marketing, operations and people management are encouraged to apply.
- Strong proficiency in English and Malayalam.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace and basic digital tools.
