Client Relationship Manager (CRM)

Job Summary

YesJay Associates is looking for a Client Relationship Manager to manage, develop and grow relationships with existing and prospective clients.

This is a client-facing relationship management and business development role. The candidate will regularly interact with SME business owners, startup founders, entrepreneurs, high-value clients, senior professionals, corporate decision-makers , celebrities and other high-profile individuals.

The ideal candidate should be well-presented, professionally groomed, confident in face-to-face interactions, commercially driven and comfortable travelling for client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Manage relationships with SME business owners, startup founders, entrepreneurs and corporate clients.
Handle high-value and key client relationships with professionalism, discretion and maturity.
Understand clients' businesses, requirements, expectations and concerns.
Handle leads, enquiries, follow-ups and business development opportunities.
Meet prospective and existing clients at their offices or other convenient locations.
Conduct business discussions with SME owners, startup founders, entrepreneurs, senior professionals and corporate decision-makers.
Understand business requirements and identify suitable YesJay services.
Identify cross-selling and service-expansion opportunities among existing clients.
Coordinate quotations and proposals and follow up until closure.
Communicate professionally regarding scope, pricing and services.
Coordinate with internal departments for client onboarding and service delivery.
Handle client complaints and concerns and coordinate timely resolution.
Maintain regular communication and follow-up with important clients.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, meetings, leads and opportunities.
Track opportunities from enquiry through conversion and ongoing relationship management.
Collect client feedback and communicate important client insights to management.
Contribute towards client acquisition, retention, business growth and revenue targets.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

Well-presented and professionally groomed.
Confident and comfortable meeting clients face-to-face.
Comfortable interacting with SME business owners, startup founders, entrepreneurs, HNIs, VIPs, celebrities, senior executives and corporate professionals.
Able to understand business requirements and have meaningful conversations with business owners.
Strong in communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
Commercially driven with good sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Proactive and persistent with follow-ups.
Mature, discreet and capable of handling confidential client information.
Strong in coordination, problem-solving and client issue resolution.
Comfortable managing multiple clients, meetings and requirements simultaneously.
Comfortable travelling regularly for client meetings and business development.
Willing to maintain professional business attire and grooming standards during working hours and client meetings.
Fluent in English, Malayalam and Hindi.
Willing to learn about accounting, taxation, compliance, financial advisory and professional services.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in Client Relationship Management, Business Development, Sales, Customer Success, Account Management or Professional Services.
Experience handling SME clients, startup founders, business owners or high-value clients will be highly preferred.
Experience in CA firms, consulting firms, accounting, taxation, financial services, advisory or other professional services will be an advantage.
Experience with CRM or business-management software is preferred.
