Full job description

Full-Time | 100% Remote | U.S. Eastern Time Hours

We are a growing U.S.-based company looking for an experienced Accounting, Bookkeeping & Administrative Specialist to join our remote team.

We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of their work.

The ideal candidate will independently manage accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative responsibilities while working directly with our U.S.-based management team.

Compensation

₹300,000 Indian Rupees per year + Performance Bonus

Position Details

Full-Time
100% Remote
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time (New York Time)
Monday–Friday
Must be available throughout U.S. Eastern Time business hours

The selected candidate must be comfortable working during U.S. Eastern Time hours and communicating regularly with our U.S.-based management team.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting activities
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Record income, expenses, payments, and financial transactions
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Track invoices, payments, and outstanding balances
Prepare financial reports and monthly financial summaries
Assist with payroll and expense tracking
Maintain receipts, invoices, and accounting documentation

Administrative Support

Handle daily administrative responsibilities
Maintain spreadsheets, records, and company documents
Organize invoices, receipts, contracts, and other documentation
Assist with scheduling and follow-ups
Manage routine email and administrative communication
Support management with special projects
Help keep company operations organized and running efficiently

AI & Technology

We are a technology-forward company and expect the ideal candidate to be comfortable using AI and modern technology in their everyday work.

Use AI tools to improve productivity, accuracy, and efficiency
Use AI for research, reporting, documentation, data organization, and administrative tasks
Quickly learn and adopt new software and technology
Identify opportunities to improve processes using AI and technology
Be comfortable learning new AI tools and applying them to daily responsibilities

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Excellent Excel and Google Sheets skills
Experience with accounting or bookkeeping software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and spoken English
Very comfortable using AI tools and technology
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Ability to meet deadlines without constant supervision
Reliable internet connection and professional work-from-home setup
Must be available to work 9:00 AM–6:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time

Preferred Experience

Experience working with a U.S.-based company
Knowledge of U.S. bookkeeping practices
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Experience with payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting
