Job Description – HR Manager – Recruitment

Location: Pithampur (Indore)
Company: Alankaram

Job Summary

Alankaram is looking for an experienced, proactive, and result-oriented HR Manager – Recruitment to lead the end-to-end recruitment function across the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in talent acquisition, stakeholder management, team handling, and recruitment strategy, with the ability to manage multiple positions across corporate, sales, retail, manufacturing, and support functions.

The role requires a hands-on recruitment professional who can understand business requirements, build strong candidate pipelines, manage hiring timelines, and ensure the organization attracts and retains high-quality talent aligned with the company's culture and growth plans.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage the complete end-to-end recruitment process from manpower requisition to onboarding.
Understand hiring requirements and prepare effective sourcing strategies for different roles.
Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, consultants, and other relevant channels.
Screen and shortlist candidates based on experience, skills, cultural fit, and role requirements.
Conduct initial HR interviews and coordinate technical/management interview rounds.
Ensure timely closure of open positions as per agreed hiring timelines.

2. Manpower Planning & Hiring Strategy

Work closely with HODs and business leaders to understand current and future manpower requirements.
Develop recruitment plans based on organizational growth and workforce requirements.
Maintain an active talent pipeline for critical and recurring positions.
Track open positions, ageing of vacancies, and recruitment progress through regular MIS.

3. Stakeholder Management

Partner with hiring managers and HODs to understand job requirements and candidate expectations.
Provide market insights regarding talent availability, salary benchmarks, notice periods, and hiring challenges.
Coordinate effectively with management to ensure timely interview scheduling and decision-making.
Maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

4. Recruitment Team Management

Lead and mentor the recruitment team and allocate hiring requirements effectively.
Set recruitment targets and monitor individual and team performance.
Review recruiter productivity, sourcing effectiveness, interview-to-selection ratios, and joining ratios.
Train team members on sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate engagement, and recruitment best practices.

5. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

Develop strategies to strengthen Alankaram's employer brand and attract quality talent.
Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Maintain effective communication with candidates regarding interviews, offers, documentation, and joining.
Explore new recruitment channels and innovative hiring methods to improve talent acquisition.

6. Offer Management & Onboarding

Coordinate salary discussions and offer negotiations within approved budgets.
Prepare and coordinate offer letters and ensure timely documentation.
Track offer acceptance, joining commitments, and candidate dropouts.
Coordinate with HR and relevant departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

7. Recruitment MIS & Analytics

Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and dashboards.
Monitor key recruitment metrics such as:
Time to Hire
Time to Fill
Cost per Hire
Source Effectiveness
Offer-to-Joining Ratio
Interview-to-Selection Ratio
Candidate Dropout Ratio
Vacancy Ageing
Present regular recruitment reports and hiring updates to management.

8. Recruitment Process Improvement

Develop and standardize recruitment SOPs, interview processes, and evaluation methods.
Continuously evaluate recruitment sources and improve hiring efficiency.
Introduce structured screening and assessment methods for critical positions.
Ensure recruitment processes are professional, consistent, and aligned with company policies.

Regular monitoring and development of the recruitment team.

Professional communication and timely follow-ups.
Improved offer acceptance and joining ratios.
Strong candidate engagement throughout the hiring process.

Recruitment Analytics

Accurate and timely recruitment MIS.
Regular analysis of hiring sources, conversion ratios, and recruitment costs.
Data-driven recommendations to improve hiring performance.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 6–9 years of experience in HR/Recruitment, with at least 2–4 years in a Recruitment Manager / Talent Acquisition Manager / HR Manager role.
Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment and team management.
Experience in hiring across multiple functions such as Sales, Retail, Manufacturing, Corporate, Operations, and Support Functions will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of recruitment portals such as Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms.
Excellent candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of salary benchmarking and market availability of talent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized, disciplined, and target-oriented.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and drive recruitment outcomes.
Professional, mature, and confident personality with strong decision-making capabilities.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
