We are currently looking for AM/DM - Admin and ER based at Silvassa with details mentioned below.
Let me tell you about the role!
The position involves supporting the plant HR head in Administration, Employee Welfare, Statutory compliance, Liaison with External authorities (viz. Police/Local Administration/ Telephone/Electricity/ Fire dept. etc.), monitoring Community Development activities and in execution of HR and IR activities for Silvassa plant and the housing colony.
Administration: This involves first level responsibility for administration in the plant which includes areas such as:
(i) Transportation
(ii) Horticulture,
(iii) Housekeeping,
(iv) Telephones,
(v) Maintenance of Housing Colony,
(vi) Maintenance and operation of Company Guest House,
(vii) Vehicle management
(viii) Stationery,
(ix) Monitoring the work of related contractors,
(x) Coordinating company events etc.
(xi) Payroll and Liasioning with External and internal Stake holders
What you will deliver
Canteen Administration: This includes first level supervision of Canteen Administration and Security Services and ensuring that all related systems/procedures are strictly followed. Ensure Canteen is maintained clean and hygiene is maintained by the Contractor and SOP is followed for all the work procedures.
Security Services Administration: To ensure proper training & deployment of plant security personnel round the clock at plant.
- Coordinate with Security agency for deployment of adequate Security personnel at the site.
- Monitor the daily report of the Security and provide guidance to Security Officer in case of any issues or concerns.
- Lay out proper procedure for entry & exit of Man, Vehicle & Material.
- Liaison with local Police Station for emergencies.
Induction & Onboarding:
- Support the Line Manager in planning induction of the new joiners
- Ensure the induction is completed as per the plan
- Ensures the new joinee settle comfortably at the Colony and his flat is made ready
- Support the new joinee in shifting his luggage to Silvassa
Training and Development:
- Support Line Manager in drafting of the Training Calendar for Technicians
- Help implement and execute the training plans as decided
- Coordinating and implementing local training programs based on plan/budget
- Local External Training nominations
- Induction of new recruits
Time Attendance System & Benefits Administration:
- Handle time attendance system- Monitoring of leaves and absenteeism, late coming etc.
- Administration of loans and benefits in the plant within the policy framework
What will make you successful
Educational Qualification / Certification: Graduate in any discipline. PG Diploma in Business Administration/ Public Administration would be an advantage. Knowledge /
Experience: Minimum 5 - 8 years’ experience in plant administration.
Base level exposure to HR and ER.

Knowledge: Knowledge of Labour statutes viz. PF Act- 1952, Payment of Gratuity Act- 1972, Payment of Wages Act-1936, Minimum Wages Act-1948, Contract Labour (R&A) Act-1970 and exposure to HR and IR processes.
Language: English communication is must and knowledge of local language (Gujarati) will be advantageous.
