Full job description

SSID – Shruti Sodhi Interior Designs is looking for an experienced, driven, and well-connected Sales Head to lead sales for The Marquis Manor, our luxury furniture and bespoke interiors brand.

The Marquis Manor specialises in bespoke, limited-edition and luxury furniture, offering premium furniture and interior solutions to discerning homeowners, HNI/UHNI clients, architects, interior designers, hospitality brands, developers, and other premium clientele.

We are looking for a sales leader who understands the luxury furniture and interiors market, has strong client relationships, can generate high-quality business opportunities, and has a proven ability to close high-value sales.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall sales function for The Marquis Manor and drive revenue growth.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Generate qualified leads through HNI/UHNI networks, architects, interior designers, real estate developers, hospitality businesses, referrals, channel partners, exhibitions, and business relationships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with premium clients, architects, designers, consultants, and key decision-makers.
Handle high-value clients personally and lead the complete sales journey from lead generation to closure and repeat business.
Welcome and engage clients visiting The Marquis Manor Experience Centre, delivering a highly personalised luxury retail experience.
Understand client requirements, lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, project budgets, and timelines to recommend appropriate furniture and interior solutions.
Present and sell bespoke furniture, limited-edition collections, décor and interior solutions with strong product knowledge and storytelling.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, site visits, design discussions, and commercial negotiations.
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, product presentations, and commercial offers.
Negotiate effectively while protecting the brand's premium positioning and profitability.
Drive upselling, cross-selling, repeat purchases, and referrals from existing clients.
Develop strategic relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, developers, hospitality groups, and other industry professionals to create a strong sales pipeline.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and market segments for The Marquis Manor.
Maintain a structured sales pipeline and ensure disciplined follow-up through CRM.
Track leads, conversions, sales values, outstanding proposals, follow-ups, and revenue forecasts.
Work closely with the design, production, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution after order closure.
Ensure clients receive regular communication throughout the order and delivery process.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, new collections, and evolving luxury consumer preferences.
Represent The Marquis Manor at client meetings, industry events, exhibitions, networking events, and business development opportunities.
Take ownership of showroom sales performance, client experience, and overall business development.
Build and mentor the sales team as the business expands.

Ideal Candidate

5–10+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in luxury furniture, interiors, architecture, premium real estate, luxury retail, hospitality, or high-end lifestyle products.
Proven track record of achieving high-value sales targets.
Strong existing network among HNI/UHNI clients, architects, interior designers, builders, developers, and luxury industry professionals will be highly preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Strong understanding of the luxury customer journey and premium selling.
Ability to confidently handle large-ticket negotiations and close complex sales.
Commercially astute with a strong understanding of margins, pricing, quotations, and sales conversion.
Strong aesthetic sensibility and an interest in luxury furniture, interiors, architecture, and design.
Highly presentable, polished, confident, and professional.
Self-driven, target-oriented, entrepreneurial, and capable of working independently.
Strong CRM and sales pipeline management skills.
