About the Role

We are looking for an experienced B2B Email Marketing and Appointment Setting Specialist to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of creating and managing cold email campaigns that generate qualified leads, positive responses and booked appointments.

This is not a basic email marketing role. We are looking for someone who understands the complete B2B outreach process, including lead sourcing, audience segmentation, campaign strategy, email copywriting, deliverability, testing, optimisation and performance tracking.

You will be responsible for taking ownership of campaigns and ensuring that outreach activity results in relevant, high-quality sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, create and manage B2B cold email outreach campaigns
Write engaging, personalised email copy designed to generate responses and booked appointments
Build, clean, segment and manage targeted lead lists
Create and manage email sequences, follow-ups and appointment-setting workflows
Monitor campaign performance, including open rates, reply rates, positive responses, booked calls and conversion rates
Test and optimise subject lines, messaging, offers, calls to action, audiences and follow-up sequences
Improve campaign performance through ongoing analysis and data-led decision-making
Manage email deliverability, domain health, inbox placement and sender reputation
Monitor and reduce spam issues, bounce rates and deliverability risks
Track leads, replies, follow-ups and booked appointments accurately
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure appointments are relevant and properly qualified
Use CRM, cold email and lead generation platforms to manage outreach effectively
Provide regular campaign updates and performance reports
Recommend improvements to outreach systems, processes and overall campaign strategy

Essential Skills and Experience

Proven experience in B2B email marketing, cold email outreach, lead generation or appointment setting
Demonstrable experience booking qualified and converting appointments through email outreach
Strong understanding of B2B sales funnels and lead generation strategies
Excellent written English and strong email copywriting skills
Experience creating personalised, persuasive and professional outreach messages
Strong knowledge of email deliverability, domain setup, inbox warm-up, sender reputation and spam prevention
Experience using cold email platforms, CRM systems and campaign reporting tools
Ability to analyse campaign data and make improvements based on performance
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and inboxes independently
Proactive, reliable and focused on achieving measurable results
Comfortable working towards appointment-booking and campaign-performance targets

Preferred Experience

Previous experience working for or with a marketing agency
Experience booking appointments for marketing, digital, AI, SaaS, consulting or other B2B service-based businesses
Experience with platforms such as Instantly, Smartlead, Apollo, Lemlist, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Close, Clay or similar tools
Experience with lead scraping, data enrichment, segmentation and list building
Experience managing multiple sending domains and email inboxes
Experience creating outreach strategies for high-value or high-ticket B2B services

About You

You understand that successful cold email outreach is not simply about sending large volumes of emails. It requires the right audience, a strong offer, effective copy, reliable deliverability, consistent follow-up and accurate tracking.

You are confident working independently and taking ownership of campaign results. You are comfortable testing new approaches, identifying problems and making improvements when campaigns are not performing as expected.

You should also be able to discuss previous campaign results, including the industries you have worked with, the tools you have used and the appointment or conversion rates you have achieved.

Experience Required

Previous experience in B2B email marketing, cold outreach, lead generation or appointment setting is essential.
