Full job description

Position: Sales Coordinator
Location: Delhi NCR
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Head

Job Purpose

The Sales Coordinator will work as a frontline coordination point for the Sales team, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between Sales, customers and internal departments. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Sales team in enquiries, quotations, order coordination, follow-ups, MIS and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities1. Frontline Sales Coordination

Work closely with the Sales team on a day-to-day basis to support their requirements.
Act as the primary coordination point between Sales Executives/Managers and internal departments.
Coordinate with Sales team members for enquiries, quotations, orders, customer requirements and follow-ups.
Track pending activities and ensure timely action from the concerned team.
Maintain regular communication with the Sales team and provide timely updates.
Escalate delays, issues or critical customer requirements to the reporting manager.

2. Customer Coordination

Handle frontline communication with customers regarding enquiries, quotations, orders and delivery status.
Respond to customer queries professionally and coordinate internally for resolution.
Follow up with customers for required documents, confirmations and pending information.
Maintain professional relationships with customers and ensure timely responses.

3. Quotation & Order Coordination

Coordinate preparation and sharing of quotations with customers.
Follow up on quotation status with the Sales team and customers.
Coordinate order processing after receiving customer confirmation.
Track orders from confirmation to dispatch/delivery.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth order execution.

4. Internal Department Coordination

Coordinate closely with:

Sales Team – enquiries, follow-ups, quotations and order status.
Design/Technical Team – drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
Finance/Accounts – payment status and commercial documentation.
Operations/Logistics/Warehouse – order execution and delivery.
Management – reports, pending matters and escalations.

5. MIS & Reporting

Maintain daily, weekly and monthly Sales MIS.
Update sales trackers, enquiry records, quotation status and order reports.
Track leads, enquiries, quotations, orders and closures.
Prepare reports for Sales Management as required.
Maintain accurate data in Excel/CRM/ERP systems.

6. Documentation

Maintain quotations, purchase orders, customer details and other sales documents.
Ensure all sales-related records are properly updated and maintained.
Maintain accurate records of customer communication and commitments.

Candidate Requirements

Graduate in B.Com, BBA, BA or any relevant discipline.
1–3 years of experience in Sales Coordination, Sales Support, Sales Operations or Customer Coordination.
Experience in building materials,sanitary ware,bathfitting construction, façade, fenestration, interiors or related industries will be preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with Sales teams and customers.
Should be comfortable working in a frontline coordination role.
Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
CRM/ERP knowledge will be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple activities and work within deadlines.
Proactive, organized and solution-oriented approach.

The ideal candidate should be a confident and excellent communicator who can work on the frontline with the Sales team, coordinate effectively with customers and internal departments, and ensure that enquiries, quotations, orders and follow-ups are handled in a timely and professional manner.

Pay: ₹11,532.08 - ₹50,318.16 per month
