About the Role

GOEEN Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Head with a strong background in the two-wheeler automobile or electric vehicle industry.

The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth across PAN INDIA, managing zonal sales operations, expanding the dealership network, achieving business targets, and leading a high-performing sales team.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the PAN INDIA two-wheeler market, dealer/distributor management, channel sales, retail sales, and regional/zonal business development.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Develop and implement sales strategies for PAN INDIA and assigned zones.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets.
Increase market penetration and overall sales volume.
Develop plans for both urban and semi-urban markets.
Monitor sales performance and take corrective action whenever required.

PAN INDIA Market Management

Take complete ownership of sales performance across PAN INDIA.
Develop district-wise and territory-wise sales plans.
Identify potential markets and appoint suitable dealers/distributors.
Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key business partners.

Zonal Sales Management

Manage and monitor sales performance across assigned zones.
Set targets for Zonal/Regional/Area Sales Managers and Sales Officers.
Review zone-wise performance against targets.
Ensure proper market coverage and sales team productivity.
Conduct regular zonal review meetings and provide strategic guidance.

Dealer & Channel Management

Expand and strengthen the dealership and distribution network.
Identify prospective dealers and support the onboarding process.
Ensure existing dealers are active and achieving their targets.
Improve dealer productivity, retail sales, and customer conversion.
Resolve dealer-related commercial and operational issues in coordination with management.

Team Leadership

Lead, motivate, and manage the complete sales team.
Set clear KPIs and targets for team members.
Monitor individual and team performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews and sales meetings.
Train and mentor the sales team to improve productivity and market performance.

Market & Competitor Analysis

Track competitor products, pricing, offers, schemes, and dealership expansion.
Analyze market demand and identify emerging sales opportunities.
Provide regular market intelligence and competitor reports to senior management.
Recommend suitable sales strategies based on market conditions.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
Track primary and secondary sales.
Monitor dealer-wise, territory-wise, and zone-wise performance.
Submit regular sales reports to senior management.
Maintain accurate sales data and performance dashboards.

Coordination

Coordinate with Marketing, Service, Finance, Production, and Operations teams.
Ensure availability of products according to market demand.
Coordinate promotional activities and dealer-level marketing initiatives.
Support after-sales/service teams in resolving dealer and customer concerns affecting sales.

Candidate Requirements

Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.
5-8years of relevant sales experience.
Strong experience in the two-wheeler automobile or EV industry is preferred.
Candidates with experience handling PAN INDIA sales, regional sales, zonal sales, dealership networks, or channel sales will be highly preferred.
Should have proven experience in achieving aggressive sales targets.
Strong knowledge of dealership and distributor management.
Experience managing large sales teams and multiple territories.
Willingness to travel extensively across West Bengal and assigned zones.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates from reputed two-wheeler/automobile/EV companies with relevant sales-management experience will be preferred.

Experience with brands such as Hero, Honda, TVS, Bajaj, Suzuki, Yamaha, Ola Electric, Ather, or other established automobile/EV companies may be advantageous.
