Role Overview

The Brand Manager will be responsible for leading the overall growth, positioning and commercial success of ZEESH across its D2C website, marketplaces and offline business.

This is not a conventional marketing role. We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution, commercial acumen and leadership capability.

The successful candidate will work directly with the founders to define the long term vision of the brand while leading the Marketing, Marketplace and Offline teams on a day to day basis.

This individual will play a pivotal role in building ZEESH into one of India's leading premium lifestyle brands.

Brand Strategy

· Develop and execute ZEESH's long term brand strategy.

· Define and strengthen the premium positioning of the brand across every customer touchpoint.

· Build a consistent, differentiated and aspirational brand identity.

· Develop annual brand calendars, product launch strategies and marketing roadmaps.

· Drive customer acquisition, retention and long term brand equity.

D2C & E Commerce Leadership

· Own and lead the long term growth strategy of www.zeesh.co.in.

· Build ZEESH's D2C website into the Company's primary long term growth engine.

· Drive website traffic, conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) and customer retention.

· Lead all initiatives relating to website optimisation, customer journey, merchandising and user experience.

· Work closely with the Performance Marketing, Creative and Technology teams to maximise revenue and profitability.

· Continuously improve website performance through data driven decision making and experimentation.

Marketing Leadership

· Lead the Performance Marketing, Brand Marketing, Creative and Content teams.

· Develop and execute monthly, quarterly and annual marketing strategies.

· Prepare and actively present marketing budgets, growth plans and strategic initiatives.

· Monitor campaign performance, ROAS, ROI and overall marketing effectiveness.

· Drive digital marketing, influencer marketing, PR, collaborations and brand partnerships.

· Ensure every customer interaction reflects ZEESH's premium positioning and brand philosophy.

Marketplace Leadership

· Lead the Marketplace team across Myntra, AJIO, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa Fashion and future platforms.

· Develop marketplace specific growth strategies.

· Drive sales, profitability, visibility, ratings, reviews and customer experience.

· Review weekly and monthly marketplace performance and implement corrective actions.

· Coordinate merchandising, pricing, promotions and inventory planning.

Offline Business

· Lead the Offline Sales team.

· Develop retail expansion strategies.

· Build dealer, distributor, institutional and corporate partnerships.

· Drive ZEESH's offline growth and brand visibility across India.

Business Planning

· Prepare annual business plans, marketing budgets and growth strategies.

· Present monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews to the founders.

· Track revenue, profitability, ROAS, CAC, contribution margins and overall business performance.

· Recommend strategic initiatives to accelerate growth and improve profitability.

· Ensure efficient allocation of marketing investments across all channels.

Product & Consumer Insights

· Work closely with the Product Development and Design teams.

· Analyse consumer behaviour, fashion trends and competitive activity.

· Provide strategic direction for future collections, pricing and category expansion.

· Ensure alignment between product, marketing and commercial strategy.

Leadership

· Lead the Marketing, Marketplace and Offline teams on a day to day basis.

· Build a culture of ownership, accountability and execution.

· Set clear KPIs, objectives and timelines across departments.

· Drive collaboration between Marketing, Design, Production, Marketplace, Operations and Sales.

· Recruit, mentor and develop future leaders within the organisation.

Candidate Profile

· 5 to 10+ years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Business Development or E Commerce.

· Mandatory D2C experience in the footwear or fashion industry.

· Strong understanding of premium brand building, consumer behaviour and lifestyle brands.

· Proven experience in scaling D2C businesses through performance marketing, CRM, retention and e commerce optimisation.

· Experience managing online marketplaces and offline retail channels.

· Strong commercial, analytical and financial acumen.

· Ability to prepare and present business plans, marketing budgets and growth strategies.

· Proven experience leading cross functional teams.

· Excellent presentation, communication and leadership skills.

· Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

· Self driven, execution focused and comfortable operating in a fast paced startup environment.
