Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive, technically proficient, and highly organized Team Lead cum Project

Manager to lead software development projects and coordinate cross-functional teams comprising

Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and UI/UX Designers.

The ideal candidate will act as the primary bridge between the client, management, and the

technical team, ensuring smooth communication, requirement clarification, project planning,

execution, monitoring, and timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. The candidate will be

responsible for overall project ownership, resource planning, project tracking, stakeholder

coordination, and team management while ensuring adherence to quality standards and project

timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Task Planning, Allocation & Execution

● Understand project requirements and analyze the scope of work.

● Break down the project into manageable tasks and define clear deliverables.

● Assign tasks to team members based on their skills, capacity, and project priorities.

● Monitor progress regularly and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining

quality standards.

Project Management

● Plan, manage, and coordinate multiple software development projects from initiation to

deployment.

● Prepare project plans, define milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.

● Track project progress against planned milestones and proactively manage risks and

dependencies.

● Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

● Maintain project trackers, status reports, risk registers, and action item logs.

● Escalate project risks and issues to management with appropriate mitigation plans.

Client Coordination

● Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the internal development team.

● Coordinate with clients for requirement gathering, clarifications, demonstrations, UAT,

feedback, and project sign-offs.

● Conduct regular review meetings with clients and communicate project progress.

● Ensure client expectations are understood and translated into actionable development tasks.

Team Leadership

● Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team consisting of:

○ Business Analysts

○ Front-End Developers

○ Back-End Developers

○ QA/Test Engineers

○ UI/UX Designers

● Allocate tasks based on priorities, team capacity, and project timelines.

● Monitor individual performance and provide technical and managerial guidance.

● Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.

Development Coordination

● Coordinate software development activities across multiple teams.

● Review functional specifications and ensure clear understanding among developers.

● Ensure adherence to coding standards, software architecture, and quality guidelines.

● Coordinate testing, bug fixing, deployment, and production support activities.

● Resolve technical and project-related challenges in coordination with senior technical

resources.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

● Maintain project dashboards and status reports.

● Track:

○ Project milestones

○ Sprint progress

○ Resource utilization

○ Task completion

○ Project risks

○ Change requests

○ Client approvals

● Present weekly project status updates to management.

● Ensure timely documentation of meeting minutes, decisions, and action items.

Process Improvement

● Improve team productivity through effective planning and monitoring.

● Ensure documentation standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

● Promote best practices in software development, quality assurance, and project governance.

Required Skills & Competencies

● Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

● Working knowledge of Front-End technologies, Back-End technologies, APIs, databases,

cloud deployment, and version control systems.

● Experience in managing enterprise software projects.

● Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

● Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, ClickUp, or

equivalent.

● Excellent client handling and stakeholder management skills.

● Strong leadership and people management capabilities.

● Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining delivery timelines.

● Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Eligibility

● B.Tech / BE/M.Tech./ME in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or

related discipline.

● 5–10 years of experience in Software Development, Team Leadership, Project Management,

or Project Coordination.

● Prior experience managing Business Analysts, Developers, QA teams, and enterprise

software projects will be preferred.

● Experience working on Government, University ERP, e-Governance, Education ERP, or large

enterprise software projects will be an added advantage.
