Full job description

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Maintain books of accounts using Tally Prime/Tally ERP.
Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, and credit notes.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, and follow up on outstanding payments.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain banking records.
Manage petty cash transactions and maintain daily expense records.
Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation, and coordinate with Chartered Accountants and consultants.
Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and conduct periodic reconciliations.
Prepare MIS reports, outstanding statements, expense reports, and account summaries for management review.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, vouchers, bank statements, and financial records.
Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding invoices, payments, and account-related queries.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, audits, and compliance requirements.

Administration Responsibilities

Manage routine office administration and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Maintain employee attendance records, leave records, and basic HR documentation.
Coordinate procurement and management of office supplies, stationery, housekeeping, and other administrative requirements.
Maintain company documents, agreements, licenses, and records in an organized manner.
Handle courier management, dispatch activities, inward/outward registers, and official correspondence.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office-related requirements.
Assist management with documentation, quotations, purchase orders, and administrative tasks.
Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, appointments, and office schedules when required.
Maintain systematic digital and physical filing systems.
Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.

Required Skills

Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing, and accounting principles.
Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong documentation, filing, and record-management skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Professional follow-up skills with customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities independently.
Good organizational and time-management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification preferred.
2–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts and Administration.
Prior experience in a trading, manufacturing, engineering, or project-based organization will be an added advantage.
