About Vortiqo
Vortiqo Technologies is a high-growth B2B technology services firm headquartered in Bengaluru, specialising in Microsoft Azure cloud migration, Data & AI, Modern Applications, and Security & Compliance. We partner with enterprises across industries to accelerate their digital transformation journeys, and our growth trajectory positions us as one of the fastest emerging players in the technology services market. We are building the marketing function from the ground up — and this role will be at its centre.
The Opportunity
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will own Vortiqo's brand, narrative, and market presence end-to-end. This is a senior individual-contributor-to-leader role with a mandate to build — crafting our positioning from the ground up, deploying AI-led marketing tools, driving qualified pipeline through strategic campaigns, and representing Vortiqo's voice at industry events and forums globally. You will work directly with the founding team and report to the COO and CEO.
Key Responsibilities1. Brand Architecture & Vision Setting
- Define and steward Vortiqo's brand identity — visual language, tone of voice, messaging framework, and positioning — ensuring coherence across all touchpoints.
- Translate the company's long-term vision into compelling external narratives for enterprise buyers, partners, investors, and talent.
- Build and maintain brand guidelines and enforce consistency across marketing collateral, proposals, and digital assets.
- Shape Vortiqo's perception as a credible, differentiated player across Azure, Data & AI, and Security verticals.
2. Social Media & Digital Presence
- Own Vortiqo's presence across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and other relevant B2B platforms — content calendar, publishing, community engagement, and analytics.
- Develop thought-leadership content — articles, case study snippets, leadership quotes — in collaboration with technical and delivery teams.
- Monitor brand sentiment and competitive activity across digital channels, providing monthly insights to leadership.
- Drive follower growth, engagement metrics, and share-of-voice benchmarks with clear quarterly targets.
3. AI-Powered Marketing
- Leverage AI tools (content generation, personalisation engines, SEO automation, campaign analytics) to scale output without scaling headcount.
- Experiment with and institutionalise AI-assisted workflows for copywriting, keyword research, lead scoring, and campaign A/B testing.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI marketing platforms and evaluate their fit for Vortiqo's B2B GTM motion.
- Produce a measurable improvement in cost-per-lead and campaign ROI through AI-led optimisation within the first 12 months.
4. Campaigns & Pipeline Generation
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, content, email, paid, events) with demonstrable impact on MQL/SQL volume and quality.
- Collaborate with the sales and pre-sales team to ensure marketing output directly supports revenue targets in key verticals — BFSI, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, and Public Sector.
- Develop account-based marketing (ABM) programmes targeting Vortiqo's named account list.
- Own the marketing funnel: awareness → consideration → pipeline, with clear attribution and reporting.
5. Events, PR & Industry Narrative
- Identify and activate high-value industry events, summits, and conferences globally (Microsoft events, Gartner summits, sector-specific forums in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America) where Vortiqo should build a presence.
- Conceptualise and execute Vortiqo's participation — from panel submissions and white-paper placements to sponsorships and speaking slots for leadership.
- Own PR and analyst relations: proactively pitch media stories, manage press releases, and cultivate relationships with relevant trade and business press.
- Develop a global events roadmap with ROI criteria for participation decisions, aligned with vertical expansion priorities.
6. Partner & Alliance Marketing
- Work closely with Microsoft and other alliance partners on co-marketing initiatives, MDF utilisation, and joint go-to-market programmes.
- Develop partner-facing collateral and support channel partner enablement from a marketing standpoint.
- Represent Vortiqo at Microsoft-led events (Inspire, Build, AI Tour) and maximise visibility within the partner ecosystem.
7. Marketing Operations & Reporting
- Set up and manage the marketing tech stack — CRM integration, marketing automation (HubSpot/Marketo), analytics dashboards, and attribution tooling.
- Prepare monthly marketing performance reports for the leadership team, with clear metrics tied to business outcomes.
- Manage the marketing budget with commercial discipline, tracking spend-to-impact ratios.
What We’re Looking ForEssential Qualifications
- 5–7 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within technology services, IT consulting, or SaaS.
- Demonstrated track record of campaigns that have generated measurable results — pipeline influenced, leads generated, brand uplift, or event ROI (please be ready to present case studies at interview).
- Hands-on proficiency with AI marketing tools (e.g. Jasper, Copy.ai, ChatGPT for campaigns, Perplexity for research, Surfer SEO, or equivalent).
- Strong writing ability — you can draft a compelling whitepaper, LinkedIn post, and event abstract with equal ease.
- Experience managing and growing brand presence on LinkedIn and other B2B channels.
- Prior experience in or strong knowledge of at least one of Vortiqo’s service verticals (Cloud, Data & AI, Cybersecurity, or Digital Transformation).
- Comfortable working in a high-ambiguity, high-ownership environment typical of early-stage, high-growth firms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft partner marketing programmes, MDF allocation, or co-sell motions.
- Prior exposure to global events strategy — submitting speaker proposals, managing event presence, or sponsorship ROI analysis.
- Familiarity with ABM platforms (Demandbase, 6sense, or similar).
- Experience working with or within a start-up or scale-up; comfort with budget constraints and scrappy execution.
- Regional exposure to Middle East, SEA, or European markets alongside India.
How Success Will Be Measured (First 12 Months)
- Vortiqo brand guidelines and messaging framework fully documented and deployed.
- LinkedIn follower growth and engagement rate above industry benchmarks for IT services peers.
- At least 3 campaigns with documented MQL/pipeline attribution delivered.
- Vortiqo represented at 4+ industry events globally, with at least 1 speaking placement for leadership.
- AI marketing workflow playbook established, with measurable efficiency gains vs. baseline.
- Marketing contribution to pipeline: minimum 20% of new opportunities influenced by marketing within Year 1.
Why Vortiqo
- You’ll be the first dedicated marketing hire — this is a blank canvas, not a handoff.
- Direct access to and collaboration with the founding team.
- Exposure to investor relations, enterprise client narratives, and cross-border market expansion.
- A company that has already exceeded its Year 1 revenue target, giving you a platform — not a rescue mission.
- Competitive compensation with performance-linked upside.
