DBCT operates through several service wings, including:
● Heavenly Palace – Supporting and enriching the lives of senior citizens through compassionate care and holistic well-being.
● Heavenly Angels – Empowering destitute and abandoned children and youth through education, mentorship, and personal development.
● Brahm Bhog – Providing food and nourishment initiatives to support those in need.
● Karma Medical Services – Delivering healthcare services to the lost marginal population and promoting community wellness.
● Margdarshan – Providing guidance, support, and empowerment initiatives for young individuals and communities.
● Global Peace and Harmony Initiative – Promoting unity, peace, cultural understanding, and humanitarian collaboration.
● Joyful Living – Providing home and respectful living to the destitute and abandoned senior citizens.
As our organization continues to expand its impact, we are seeking an experienced, mature, self-driven, and visionary General Manager to provide leadership, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and strategic oversight across the Trust's initiatives.
Position Overview
The General Manager will work closely with the Board of Trustees and provide leadership in administration, finance, compliance, stakeholder engagement, community relations, and organizational growth.
The successful candidate will liaise with government officials, regulatory bodies, healthcare professionals, donors, volunteers, community leaders, and other stakeholders while ensuring the Trust continues to operate with excellence and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategic Management
● Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for the Trust and its various service wings.
● Work closely with the Board of Trustees to implement the organization's vision, strategic goals, and long-term objectives.
● Develop and execute operational plans that support organizational growth and sustainability.
● Lead, mentor, and motivate staff, volunteers, and management teams.
● Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
● Identify opportunities for expansion, partnerships, innovation, and community impact.
Financial Management & Stewardship
● Oversee all financial operations of the Trust.
● Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation plans.
● Monitor financial performance and ensure responsible utilization of charitable funds.
● Ensure financial transparency, accountability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
● Work closely with auditors, accountants, financial advisors, and trustees.
● Assist in identifying funding opportunities, grants, sponsorships, donations, and fundraising initiatives.
Government Relations & Liaison Work
● Serve as the primary liaison between the Trust and government departments, regulatory authorities, healthcare agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations.
● Develop and maintain productive relationships with government officials, local authorities, community leaders, and strategic partners.
● Represent the Trust at meetings, conferences, networking events, and public engagements.
● Facilitate approvals, permissions, reporting requirements, and collaborative initiatives with external stakeholders.
Compliance, Governance & Quality Assurance
● Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
● Monitor adherence to organizational policies, governance frameworks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
● Ensure all DBCT initiatives maintain the highest standards of operational excellence and service delivery.
● Work closely with the management and medical teams of Karma Medical Services to ensure compliance with established SOPs, healthcare regulations, medical protocols, and standards of care.
● Maintain organizational records, registrations, licenses, certifications, and reporting obligations.
Community Engagement & Public Relations
● Build meaningful relationships with local communities, beneficiaries, donors, volunteers, and stakeholders.
● Strengthen the Trust's public image through effective communication and community outreach.
● Support public awareness campaigns, fundraising events, and social impact initiatives.
● Promote collaboration among all service wings to maximize community impact.
Human Resources & Team Development
● Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management processes.
● Build high-performing teams aligned with the Trust's mission and values.
● Foster employee engagement, professional development, and leadership growth.
● Ensure a positive and respectful work environment.
Technology, Communication & Social Media
● Oversee organizational communications and information systems.
● Ensure effective use of technology to improve operational efficiency.
● Supervise social media platforms, website content, digital communications, and public engagement strategies.
● Utilize technology and analytics to support organizational decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills
● Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
● Minimum 7 years of leadership or management experience.
● Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills.
● Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
● Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools.
● Experience with social media and stakeholder engagement.
● Strong initiative, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
● Demonstrated commitment to humanitarian service or community development will be considered a strong asset.
