About the Role

Grey Soul Coffee Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead kitchen operations and deliver exceptional VEG FOOD experiences aligned with the brand’s quality and café culture. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, creativity in menu development, and the ability to manage kitchen performance efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene, consistency, and food cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee complete day-to-day kitchen operations including VEG food preparation, cooking, plating, and service coordination.
Ensure consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control standards across all menu items.
Develop and update menus, seasonal specials, recipes, and innovative food offerings aligned with the Grey Soul brand once a year.
Supervise, train, and manage kitchen staff while maintaining discipline, teamwork, and operational efficiency.
Control food costs, wastage, pilferage, and maintain accurate inventory records and audits.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, food safety standards, and company SOPs at all times.
Coordinate maintenance and proper functioning of kitchen equipment and report repair requirements when necessary.
Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance food quality and guest satisfaction.
Maintain smooth communication and coordination between kitchen and service teams during operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef / Sous Chef in cafés, restaurants, or hospitality brands especially with Vegeterian Food.
Strong knowledge of Continental, Café, Breakfast, and Fast Casual cuisine.
Ability to manage kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of food costing, inventory management, and kitchen administration.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
Experience in specialty café or premium coffee brands is an advantage.
