Role: Manager – Business Development & Marketing

Vacancy: 1

Experience: 3–5 Years

Location: Kothrud, Pune

Work Days: Monday to Friday, On-site

Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and result-oriented Manager – Business Development & Marketing to drive business growth, institutional partnerships, brand visibility, lead generation, and integrated offline and online marketing initiatives.

The candidate should have strong business acumen, excellent communication and networking skills, creativity, and hands-on knowledge of social media management, digital marketing, content publishing, and analytics. The role requires close coordination with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), designers, content creators, video editors, internal teams, vendors, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Partnerships

● Identify and develop new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, institutional collaborations, and revenue-generating initiatives.

● Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, educational institutions, universities, corporates, NGOs, healthcare professionals, professional associations, and other relevant stakeholders.

● Explore opportunities for MoUs, joint programs, workshops, training programs, institutional tie-ups, and collaborative projects.

● Generate leads for educational programs, healthcare initiatives, workshops, events, services, and other organizational offerings.

● Conduct market and competitor research to identify target audiences, emerging trends, and potential growth opportunities.

● Prepare proposals, presentations, business pitches, concept notes, and partnership plans.

● Conduct institutional visits, meetings, presentations, negotiations, and follow-ups with prospective partners and clients.

● Represent the organization at conferences, exhibitions, seminars, networking events, and professional forums.

Offline Marketing

● Plan and execute offline marketing and outreach initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

● Coordinate seminars, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, institutional outreach, awareness programs, print promotions, and community initiatives.

● Coordinate the development of brochures, flyers, posters, banners, standees, information kits, and other marketing collateral.

● Work with SMEs to ensure subject-specific content related to healthcare, psychology, education, and research is accurate and appropriate.

● Coordinate with designers, printers, vendors, agencies, and internal teams for timely execution of campaigns and promotional activities.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

● Manage the organization’s social media presence across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and other relevant digital platforms.

● Plan, schedule, publish, and monitor posts, reels, stories, videos, advertisements, announcements, educational content, and promotional campaigns.

● Develop and maintain monthly and campaign-specific social media content calendars.

● Adapt content according to the audience, format, and communication style of each platform.

● Coordinate with SMEs to obtain technical inputs and convert them into clear and audience- friendly communication.

● Coordinate the development of social media creatives, reels, videos, testimonials, promotional materials, and awareness campaigns.

● Support organic and paid digital marketing, online lead generation, email marketing, WhatsApp marketing, and other digital outreach activities.

● Monitor comments, messages, enquiries, and audience interactions and coordinate appropriate responses.

● Stay updated with social media trends, platform developments, and emerging content formats.

Social Media Analytics & Performance

● Monitor and analyse the performance of social media posts, reels, videos, digital advertisements, and campaigns.

● Track key performance indicators such as reach, impressions, engagement, views, watch time, follower growth, profile visits, website clicks, enquiries, leads, and conversions.

● Identify high-performing content, audience preferences, and opportunities for improvement.

● Use analytics to improve content strategy, posting frequency, campaign targeting, and marketing performance.

● Prepare monthly and campaign-wise performance reports.

● Track lead sources to evaluate the effectiveness of online and offline marketing channels.

Lead Management & Conversion

● Maintain an organized database of enquiries, leads, institutional contacts, and partnerships.

● Ensure timely follow-up with prospective students, clients, institutions, and partners.

● Monitor leads from initial enquiry through conversion.

● Analyse lead-generation channels and recommend strategies to improve conversion rates.

● Coordinate with relevant internal teams to support admission, service, partnership, and business- development targets.

Event & Campaign Coordination

● Plan and coordinate workshops, webinars, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, institutional visits, and awareness programs.

● Collaborate with SMEs for event themes, topics, speakers, and subject-specific content.

● Develop and coordinate pre-event, event-day, and post-event promotional activities.

● Liaise with speakers, institutions, partners, vendors, agencies, and internal teams.

● Track participation, engagement, enquiries, leads, and partnership opportunities arising from events.

Planning & Reporting

● Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual business development and marketing plans.

● Maintain campaign calendars, lead records, partnership databases, and follow-up trackers.

● Monitor key performance indicators related to business development, marketing, partnerships, conversions, social media, and brand growth.

● Prepare periodic management reports highlighting progress, outcomes, challenges, and recommendations.

Educational Qualification

● MBA in Marketing from a recognized university or institution.

● Additional certification in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Brand Management, Sales, or Business Development will be an advantage.

Experience

● 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in Business Development, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Institutional Outreach, Brand Management, or related functions.

● Prior experience in the Healthcare and/or Education sector is preferred.

● Hands-on experience in managing offline and online marketing activities, social media platforms, campaigns, and analytics is desirable.

Language Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills in:
