Reporting to - Managing Director India

What impact you create at Chanel
Within the Fashion Division, and more specifically within the Boutique organization, reporting to the local / regional Fashion management:
BUSINESS & STRATEGIC OWNERSHIP

You define the long-term vision and strategic direction of the Boutique, in line with the House strategy and Fashion priorities

You lead the overall Boutique activity, ensuring full ownership of business performance, people engagement and client experience

You translate strategic priorities into a clear yearly roadmap and ensure the consistent deployment of the House’s commercial, client, assortment and boutique image positioning strategy

You adopt and drive transformation and innovation strategic projects/initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and team engagement, and fostering a culture of change within the organization

You drive sales and client development within the defined budget, guidelines and action plans, leveraging local market intelligence and competitive awareness

You monitor and steer key commercial, client, financial and budgetary indicators, ensuring accurate reporting and rigorous performance follow-up

You operate with strong operational proximity, ensuring direct oversight of commercial, client and operational activities

You combine strategic direction with hands-on execution within a lean organizational structure

You maintain close managerial involvement, ensuring agility, responsiveness and day-to-day performance delivery

You ensure assortment coherence and merchandising consistency across product lines, balancing global guidelines with local client profiles

You anchor buying choices in luxury, fashion sensibility and market insight, embedding them into the Boutique’s overall strategy

You ensure strong cross-division coordination and alignment between Fashion and Watches & Fine Jewelry teams, safeguarding consistent client experience and business performance across divisions
CLIENT EXPERIENCE, INFLUENCE & BRAND REPRESENTATION

You act as a guarantor of the client experience across the entire client journey, ensuring that the Chanel Client Relational Promise is embodied in all the dimensions CHANEL aims to deliver at every interaction throughout the relationship between the CHANEL and its clients.

You foster team engagement to cultivate client relationships that create meaningful connections, ensuring clients feel valued and engaged with the brand, and contributing to the boutique’s influence through events, partnerships and local initiatives

You champion Fashion Creation, placing it at the heart of the client experience, and assert CHANEL leadership and authority in Style expertise

You are accountable to ensure the highest standards of service excellence, creating meaningful and unique experiences for clients at every touchpoint, within the boutique and beyond

You ensure the CHANEL & moi promise is embodied at every interaction and positioning yourself as an ambassador of the House’s service and long-term client care commitments

What you will bring

Your solid experience in Fashion retail management, ideally within a luxury environment

Your strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop, engage and empower teams

Your proven ability to translate strategy into operational execution and drive performance
-
Your strong business acumen, including commercial, financial and client performance management

Your expertise in client experience, clienteling and long-term relationship building
-
Your strong situational awareness and social intelligence allowing you to adapt your posture and communication across diverse client and stakeholder environments

Your sensitivity to Fashion creation, product assortment and Visual Merchandising

Your ability to work in a complex, demanding and evolving environment, with strong collaboration and change management skills

Your experience: 10 years in sales management and minimum 5 years shop floor experience within the luxury industry

Your languages: Fluent English mandatory
