Job Title: Commis Chef / Cook
Location: Goa, India

Artjuna is a well-established lifestyle café brand in Goa, known for our healthy, Mediterranean-inspired menu, artisanal bakery, and vibrant cultural atmosphere. We are committed to delivering exceptional food quality, consistent flavors, and a great guest experience.

We are currently looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef / Cook to join our kitchen team and grow with us.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations (prep, cook, plate).
Prepare ingredients for menu items (chopping, marinating, portioning, etc.).
Cook basic menu items under supervision, following recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations at all times.
Follow kitchen safety standards, including proper storage and labeling of food.
Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen inventory.
Support in cleaning duties at the end of each shift.
Be open to learning new skills and techniques from senior team members.

Requirements:

6 months to 2 years of kitchen experience in a café or restaurant preferred.
Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Flexible with work timings, including weekends and holidays.
Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety.
