Academy of Vedic Vidya (AVV) – An EdTech platform offering live interactive courses, certifications and learning experiences rooted in Vedic sciences.

As we continue to grow and launch new ventures, we are looking for a dynamic digital marketing leader who can take ownership of our digital growth engine across existing and future brands.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven, strategic and hands-on Head of Digital Marketing – Performance & Growth to lead our digital marketing function.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who understands that digital marketing is not just about running campaigns—it is about driving measurable business growth, revenue and customer acquisition.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Performance Marketing, Paid Media, Growth Strategy, Analytics, CRO, Marketing Technology and Team Leadership, with the ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities
1. Performance & Growth Marketing – Primary Ownership

Own and scale paid acquisition across Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
Develop and execute full-funnel digital acquisition strategies.
Drive measurable growth in revenue, customer acquisition and qualified leads.
Optimise campaigns based on ROAS, CAC, CPL, conversion rates and other business KPIs.
Manage and optimise digital marketing budgets to maximise ROI.
Identify new customer acquisition channels and growth opportunities.
Develop structured testing frameworks for creatives, audiences, landing pages and campaigns.
Use data-driven insights to continuously improve campaign performance.

2. Digital Strategy & Multi-Brand Growth

Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across Treasures of Veda, Academy of Vedic Vidya and future brands.
Lead digital go-to-market strategies for new products, services and brand launches.
Build scalable marketing systems, processes and SOPs.
Drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention and reactivation initiatives.
Adapt marketing strategies based on the unique business models of D2C and EdTech.

3. Website, CRO & Marketing Technology

Own website performance from a marketing and conversion perspective.
Oversee landing pages, website optimisation and conversion rate optimisation.
Work closely with developers and technology partners to improve website speed, usability, tracking and performance.
Ensure accurate integration between websites, CRM systems, payment gateways, analytics tools and marketing platforms.
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline marketing workflows.

4. Analytics, Attribution & Reporting

Own marketing performance reporting and build relevant dashboards.
Use GA4, Google Tag Manager and other analytics tools to monitor customer journeys and campaign performance.
Analyse marketing data to identify opportunities, challenges and growth levers.
Develop a strong understanding of attribution and marketing funnel performance.
Present actionable insights and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team.
Drive continuous optimisation through A/B testing and structured experimentation.

5. Creative & Content Operations

Lead the creative workflow required for performance marketing campaigns.
Work closely with designers, copywriters, video editors and external creative partners.
Develop a high-velocity creative testing process.
Ensure marketing creatives are aligned with brand positioning and campaign objectives.
Maintain consistency across all digital customer touchpoints.

6. Team & Agency Leadership

Build, mentor and lead the digital marketing team.
Manage internal resources, freelancers and external agencies.
Define team KPIs, SOPs, workflows and accountability systems.
Ensure timely and high-quality execution of marketing initiatives.
Foster a culture of ownership, speed, experimentation and continuous improvement.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Sales, Product, Operations, Technology and Leadership teams.
Collaborate with sales teams to optimize the complete lead-to-revenue funnel.
Support the launch and growth of new products, services and business verticals.
Take end-to-end ownership of digital marketing requirements across the organisation.

Required Skills & Expertise

5–10 years of relevant experience in Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing or Growth Marketing.
Strong hands-on expertise in Meta Ads and Google Ads.
Proven experience managing and scaling paid acquisition campaigns.
Demonstrated ownership of marketing budgets and measurable business outcomes.
Strong understanding of ROAS, CAC, CPL, conversion rates and customer acquisition economics.
Hands-on experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
Working knowledge of CRO, SEO, email marketing and lifecycle marketing.
Experience with Shopify, WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation and lead management workflows.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Experience managing internal teams, freelancers and/or external agencies.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple brands, campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
Strong understanding of AI-powered tools and modern marketing technologies is preferred.
