Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Preferred Experience: 1–3 years of proven pharmaceutical sales experience as a Medical Representative.
Current Designation: Medical Representative (MR) or an equivalent pharmaceutical field sales role.
Current Employer: Candidates currently working with any reputed pharmaceutical company are encouraged to apply.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, Chemistry, Nursing, or any other relevant science discipline. Graduates from other streams with relevant pharmaceutical sales experience may also apply.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age.
Travel: Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving licence, own or have access to a two-wheeler, and be willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory.

Position Overview:

The Medical Representative will be responsible for promoting the company's pharmaceutical products within the assigned territory while building strong professional relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, chemists, distributors, and other healthcare stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong scientific product knowledge, and a proven ability to achieve prescription generation and sales targets through ethical pharmaceutical marketing practices.

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
Generate maximum prescriptions and increase market share.
Promote the company's pharmaceutical products in accordance with marketing strategies.
Execute product promotion campaigns and brand-building initiatives.
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Expand prescription generation and product visibility.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies.
Support successful product launches and promotional activities.
Consistently achieve call average, coverage, and frequency norms.

Doctor Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with General Physicians, Specialists, Consultants, and Healthcare Professionals.
Conduct scientific product detailing using approved promotional materials.
Ensure regular doctor coverage according to territory plans.
Address product-related queries confidently and professionally.
Develop long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Maintain excellent customer engagement through ethical selling practices.

Chemist, Hospital & Distributor Management

Build strong relationships with Retail Chemists, Hospitals, Clinics, Nursing Homes, and Institutional Accounts.
Coordinate with Stockists and Distributors to ensure continuous product availability.
Monitor inventory levels and prevent stock shortages.
Generate product orders and follow up on order fulfilment.
Support distributors in driving primary and secondary sales.
Maintain healthy distributor relationships within the assigned territory.

Territory Management

Plan and execute daily field work efficiently.
Maximize territory coverage and productivity.
Ensure regular customer visits as per company norms.
Maintain an updated doctor and chemist database.
Identify high-potential territories and growth opportunities.
Improve product visibility across the assigned geography.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

Submit Daily Call Reports (DCR) through the company's reporting system.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Maintain accurate records of customer visits and business activities.
Provide regular market feedback and competitor intelligence.
Analyze territory performance and recommend improvement strategies.
Ensure compliance with company reporting standards and ethical marketing practices.

Candidate Requirements: Education

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Nursing, Zoology, or any relevant discipline.
Graduates from other disciplines with relevant pharmaceutical sales experience may also be considered.

Experience

1–3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience as a Medical Representative.
Experience promoting ethical pharmaceutical products.
Proven ability to achieve sales and prescription generation targets.
Experience handling doctor calls independently.
Candidates from reputed pharmaceutical companies will be preferred.
Product launch experience will be considered an added advantage.
