Who are we looking for?

Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboarding a "Mechanical Engineer" with expertise in creating/updating, part/assembly drawings along with CAD models.

The candidate will be part of a team assisting in the delivery of efficient engineering support and solutions to customers while also contributing to the development of Indian semiconductor ecosystem.

Roles & Responsibilities

Working in the multi-disciplinary team comprising of electrical and mechanical engineers.
Work on creating/updating components specification sheets, part/assembly drawings and CAD models.
Prepare presentation and present in design reviews for approvals.
Perform FMEA and provide mitigation strategies to eliminate risks.
Identify and implement best practices to continuously improve efficiency in Engineering/PLM/CAD processes.
Monitor and track progress of different projects; publish weekly report to stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical with experience of 1-3 years.
Master's degree will be preferred.

Mandatory Skills:

Proficient in NX/Creo/SolidWorks.
Good knowledge of sheet metals, Machined and plastic parts.
Good understanding of various manufacturing processes.
Has good communication skills (written & verbal).
Excellent command over Microsoft tools- Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Able to work with limited supervision and in an agile environment.
Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.

Good to have:

Experience with ERP and PLM (SAP/Team Centre or similar systems).
Basic understanding of GD&T & Tolerance stack up.
Work on obsolescence activities and electromechanical assemblies.
Knowledge of FEA using Ansys, or similar SW is a benefit.
Understanding of FMEA.
Concept design skills - Should understand concepts while working on new designs and know how to do concepts in new designs.
Hands-on experience in Creo.
