Senior Sales Manager

Industry: Manufacturing / Fabrication / Engineering

Job Summary

NRC Group of Industries is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the manufacturing and fabrication industry.

The ideal candidate should have 7–10 years of relevant sales experience, strong team-handling capabilities, excellent customer relationship skills, and a proven track record in developing new business and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Handle B2B sales and develop long-term business relationships with industrial customers.
Understand customer requirements, drawings, specifications, and project requirements where applicable.
Coordinate with Production, Design, Costing & Estimation, Purchase, Quality, and other departments to meet customer requirements.
Prepare and review sales plans, quotations, proposals, and commercial offers in coordination with relevant teams.
Monitor sales enquiries, quotations, negotiations, order confirmations, and customer follow-ups.
Conduct customer visits, meetings, and business development activities.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and identify opportunities for business expansion.
Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports for management.
Ensure timely collection of customer feedback and support resolution of customer issues.
Guide the sales team in lead generation, follow-ups, negotiations, and order conversion.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure consistent business development.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Required Skills

Strong B2B sales and business development abilities.
Good customer relationship management skills.
Ability to lead a sales team and drive performance.
Strong follow-up and target-oriented approach.
Good understanding of the manufacturing/fabrication industry.
Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.
Good working knowledge of MS Office and basic reporting tools.

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech is mandatory, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

7–10 years of relevant experience in Sales and Team Handling, preferably in:

Manufacturing industry
Sheet metal fabrication
Metal fabrication
Engineering industry
Industrial products / components
B2B industrial sales

Candidates with proven experience in handling sales teams and developing business in the manufacturing/fabrication sector will be preferred.

Location & Accommodation

Job Location: NRC Group of Industries, SIHS Colony, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Candidates should be willing to work in Coimbatore.
