Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Executive to expand our Study Abroad business through strategic partnerships, lead generation initiatives, institutional collaborations, and market development activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building relationships with educational institutions and referral partners, organizing promotional activities, and contributing to student enrolment growth.

The role requires excellent networking skills, market awareness, communication abilities, and a passion for international education.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase student enrolments.
Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, universities, coaching centres, and educational institutions.
Establish referral partnerships with education consultants, training centres, IELTS/PTE institutes, and corporate organizations.
Develop strategic alliances to generate quality student leads.
Conduct regular market visits to identify potential business opportunities.

Marketing & Promotions

Plan and coordinate educational seminars, workshops, career guidance sessions, and study abroad awareness programs.
Represent the company at education fairs, exhibitions, school events, and promotional campaigns.
Coordinate with the marketing team for digital and offline promotional activities.
Suggest innovative business growth strategies based on market trends.

Lead Generation

Generate qualified student leads through networking and business development initiatives.
Develop corporate and institutional tie-ups for continuous lead generation.
Maintain relationships with existing partners and strengthen referral networks.
Ensure regular follow-up with prospective partners.

Relationship Management

Maintain excellent relationships with educational institutions and strategic partners.
Conduct periodic meetings with institutional contacts.
Ensure high partner satisfaction and continuous engagement.
Resolve partner concerns professionally and promptly.

Market Research

Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
Identify emerging study destinations and student preferences.
Provide management with business intelligence reports and market insights.
Recommend new markets and business expansion opportunities.

Sales Support

Work closely with the Student Counselling team to maximize student conversion.
Coordinate promotional campaigns aimed at improving enquiry generation.
Support enrolment campaigns during peak admission seasons.
Assist in achieving departmental admission and revenue targets.

CRM & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of business development activities in CRM.
Update partnership status and meeting reports regularly.
Submit weekly and monthly business development reports.
Track business opportunities from initiation to conversion.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Number of new institutional partnerships established.
Number of active referral partners onboarded.
Qualified student enquiries generated monthly.
Lead-to-enrolment conversion support.
Monthly business development targets achieved.
Number of seminars, workshops, and promotional events conducted.
Partner retention and engagement rate.
Revenue generated through business development initiatives.
CRM accuracy and timely reporting.
Customer and partner satisfaction.

Experience in Overseas Education, Study Abroad Consultancy, EdTech, Education Sales, or Business Development is preferred.
