Full job description

Position: Technical Executive Assistant to Managing Director
Department: Management / Technical
Reporting To: Managing Director
Industry: Manufacturing – Polymer / Plastics / Compounding
Location: [Ahmedabad, Gujarat]
Experience: 0–5 Years

Position Overview

We are seeking a technically proficient and highly organized Technical Executive Assistant to the Managing Director to provide technical, analytical, and administrative support to the MD in managing business operations, manufacturing activities, product development, and technical coordination.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of polymer science, plastics, polymer compounding, or related manufacturing processes. Candidates with an educational or professional background from CIPET (Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology) or IICT (Indian Institute of Chemical Technology) will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities1. Technical Support to MD

Provide technical assistance and relevant information to the Managing Director for business and operational decision-making.
Study and analyze technical reports, product specifications, test reports, and quality documents.
Prepare technical summaries, presentations, MIS reports, and management updates.
Support the MD in reviewing technical challenges, production issues, and product performance.

Management Coordination

Act as a communication bridge between the MD and different departments.
Follow up on important tasks and action points assigned by the MD.
Maintain a structured tracker for pending activities, projects, trials, and critical business matters.
Ensure timely updates are provided to the MD regarding the status of key assignments.
Attend management meetings, prepare minutes of meetings, and track action items until closure.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by the MD.
Analyze production, quality, sales, inventory, raw material, and other operational data.
Prepare presentations and dashboards for management review.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive technical, financial, and business information.

Follow-up & Execution

Closely follow up with respective department heads on tasks assigned by the MD.
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of important activities.
Escalate delays, bottlenecks, and critical issues to the MD.
Maintain proper documentation and records of technical and management-related activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Polymer Technology, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Candidates with qualifications from CIPET will be preferred.
Candidates with exposure to IICT or relevant research/technical institutes will be an added advantage.
0.6–5 years of experience in a polymer, plastics, polymer compounding, masterbatch, chemical, or manufacturing organization.
Strong technical understanding of polymer/plastics materials and manufacturing processes.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Word, and report preparation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand technical information and present it clearly to senior management.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, ownership, and professionalism.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
