Citi is looking for Apprentices to join our various divisions. Here at Citi, the Apprenticeship Program is intended to help you build a broad skill set and accelerate your career growth by gaining exposure to numerous day-to-day activities.

Your time here will look something like this...

The Apprenticeship Program begins in June with a short induction, providing apprentices with an overview of Citi, a technology training session, and an introduction to Citi's divisions. As an apprentice you will gain hands on work experience with deliverables and will be expected to add value to their teams during the 12 months. In addition to your daily work, Apprentices can expand their networks here at Citi.

Analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to assess the financial health of corporate clients.
Evaluate the creditworthiness of companies through financial analysis, cash flow assessment, and key credit metrics.
Identify and assess credit strengths, weaknesses, and emerging risk factors impacting borrowers.
Perform ratio analysis, trend analysis, and peer benchmarking to support credit risk assessments and recommendations.
Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported credit memoranda documenting key findings, risk assessments, and recommendations.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

The Apprenticeship Program is a 12-months opportunity in India. The Program will provide Apprentices with on-the-job-training supporting one of Citi's Business Groups. Opportunities are offered in Banking, Markets, Services, Wealth, Operations, Technology, Internal Audit, HR, Services, Risk and Control)

Enthusiasm to learn about the wide range of roles within assigned business/function
Ability to work independently and in a team environment with strong communication skills (both written and verbal) at all organizational levels
Possesses resiliency to work in a challenging and changing, high volume environment
Ability to think globally, creatively, and innovatively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

We want to hear from you if...

You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline with a graduation date between December 2022 and June 2026
Less than 12 months of prior work experience
No ESIC/EFP account
Ability to relocate domestically

Note: Candidates shortlisted will have to register themselves as an apprentice via the government apprentice portal
