Role Purpose
We are looking for an experienced HR & Compliance Manager to support the HR Services vertical and assist businesses with practical HR, statutory compliance, labour-law and workforce-management requirements.
The role will support client acquisition, HR consulting, compliance advisory, client requirements, HR solutions and coordination with the HR marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client HR and workforce-management requirements.
- Provide practical HR and compliance guidance within the candidate's area of expertise.
- Support HR statutory and labour compliance activities.
- Review client HR processes and identify compliance gaps.
- Support preparation and maintenance of HR policies, registers, records and documentation.
- Advise on employee relations, disciplinary matters and workplace practices.
- Support industrial relations and labour-management matters.
- Assist with labour contractor and contract workforce compliance.
- Support factory and establishment compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with clients regarding statutory records, inspections, notices and compliance documentation.
- Support HR audits and compliance-gap assessments.
- Assist with HRMS, payroll, attendance, leave and workforce-management implementation requirements.
- Work with the HR Marketing Executive/Specialist for lead generation and client requirements.
- Support proposals, client presentations and HR solution demonstrations.
- Coordinate with the Regional Sales & Marketing Manager and Founder on important client opportunities.
HR Compliance Knowledge – Must Have
Practical knowledge of applicable Indian employment and labour compliance requirements, including areas such as:
- Labour and employment laws
- Wages and wage-related compliance

Factory & Industrial Compliance – Must Have
Candidates with factory/industrial experience should understand practical requirements relating to:
- Factory workforce compliance

- Contractor/contract workforce compliance
- Labour welfare requirements
- Industrial relations

Labour Relations & Union Experience
Experience with labour relations is strongly preferred, particularly:

- Escalate legal or specialist matters requiring qualified professional advice.
Important Professional Boundary
The role requires practical HR and compliance expertise, but candidates must not represent themselves as advocates, legal practitioners or statutory professionals unless they hold the appropriate qualification and authority.
Complex legal disputes, litigation and matters requiring formal legal representation should be referred to the appropriate qualified professional.

Degree/Diploma in HR, Personnel Management, Labour Welfare, Industrial Relations, Business Management or equivalent experience preferred.
3+ years of practical HR experience preferred.
Candidates with strong practical factory HR, industrial relations, labour compliance or HR consulting experience may be considered based on demonstrated capability.

Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Assamese and other Indian regional languages.
Candidates who can communicate effectively in multiple Indian languages will have an advantage, particularly for factory and workforce-related assignments.

Own laptop/desktop, smartphone, reliable internet connection and headset required.
Work Location
Remote – India.
