Full job description

Location: Pune - Work from Office
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Experience required: 2-5 years
CTC: Rs 4.20 lakh to 7.5 Lakh, depending on practical skills and experience
Reports to: Head (Business Operations)

You have 2–5 years of relevant experience in credit, lending, banking, an NBFC, a CA firm, debt advisory or loan operations.
You have prepared CMA data and financial projections independently.
You can understand a profit and loss account, balance sheet, GST returns, bank statements and existing loan statements.
You are comfortable doing both financial analysis and case coordination.
You are willing to work from our Pune office, Monday to Saturday.
You are comfortable with occasional visits to bank branches in Pune.

Please do not apply if:

You are a fresher with no relevant practical experience.
Your experience is only in sales, telecalling or lead generation.
Your experience is limited to bookkeeping, GST filing or income-tax-return filing.
You have never prepared or worked on CMA data or financial projections for complex projects.
You are looking for a work-from-home or five-day position.
You want a purely desk-based analyst role with no client, accountant or lender coordination.

About Finansh:

Finansh is a Pune-based debt-advisory, capital-structuring and credit-intelligence firm.

We work with individuals, MSMEs, promoters and renewable-energy businesses. Our work includes working capital, term loans, machinery finance, property-backed lending, HNI home loans and renewable-energy project finance.

Business mandates generally begin at Rs 5 Crore, and Finansh works across a network of 18+ lending institutions.

This is an in-house position with direct exposure to the Founder and Head of Business Operations.

About the Role:

We need a Credit Associate who can understand a borrower’s financial position and also take responsibility for moving the case forward.

This is deliberately a mixed role:

Approximately 45% credit analysis and preparation
Approximately 40% case execution and coordination
Approximately 15% post-disbursement and compliance support

The exact mix will vary depending on the cases being handled.

This role suits someone who wants to understand and own the complete lending process-not only prepare spreadsheets or only follow up for documents.

What you will do:

Credit Analysis:

Analyse audited and provisional financial statements, income-tax returns, GST returns, bank statements, existing loans, CIBIL/credit-bureau reports and repayment history.
Prepare CMA data, financial projections, cash-flow statements and loan-repayment calculations.
Calculate and understand ratios such as current ratio, debt-equity, TOL/TNW, DSCR and ISCR.
Check whether information in financial statements, GST returns, bank statements and loan records is consistent.
Identify important discrepancies or missing information before submitting a case to a lender.
Prepare borrower summaries, initial credit notes and replies to lender queries.
Assist in assessing working-capital, term-loan, machinery-finance, property-backed, renewable-energy and complex self-employed borrower cases.
Maintain clear assumptions and supporting sources for financial models.

Case Execution:

Own assigned cases from document collection through lender submission, sanction conditions and disbursement.
Maintain clear document checklists, pending requirements, next steps and target dates.
Coordinate with clients, accountants and lender representatives for documents and clarifications.
Review files for completeness before internal review or lender submission.
Track lender queries, approvals, sanction conditions, documentation and disbursement progress.
Support interest-payment follow-ups, lender audits and other assigned post-disbursement requirements.
Visit Pune bank branches when a case requires proper coordination, clarification or compliance support.

Routine courier and document-delivery work is not the purpose of this position.

Qualifications and Skills

MBA Finance, M.Com, CA or CMA. (Preferred)
Strong accounting and financial-statement understanding.
Practical Excel skills, including formulas, linked schedules and financial models.
Ability to explain financial movements and credit issues clearly.
Professional written and spoken English.

Growth at Finansh:

A strong Credit Associate can progress towards a Senior Credit Associate position and ownership of a defined case portfolio or lending vertical within approximately 18–24 months.

Progression depends on work quality, judgement, reliability and the ability to handle cases independently.

Selection Process

Initial application screening.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for one office visit.
The office visit will normally include:
a. A practical exercise using sample financial and case information.b. Discussion of the candidate’s approach.c. Interviews with the Head of Business Operations and Founder.
Reference and background checks will follow for the selected candidate.
