Job Description – HR Manager

Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Senior Management / Director
Location: GREATER NOIDA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 5–8 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and people-oriented HR Manager to oversee and manage the organization's human resource functions. The HR Manager will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR policies, payroll coordination, compliance, employee engagement, and overall people development.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, sound knowledge of HR practices, and the ability to handle confidential employee matters professionally.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage the complete recruitment and selection process.
Understand manpower requirements and prepare hiring plans.
Source, screen, interview, and select suitable candidates.
Coordinate with department heads for interviews and final selection.
Manage offer letters, joining formalities, and onboarding.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.

2. Employee Relations

Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
Maintain positive employee relations and a healthy workplace culture.
Handle disciplinary matters and conflict resolution.
Conduct employee meetings, feedback sessions, and exit interviews.
Ensure effective communication between management and employees.

3. HR Operations

Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Manage attendance, leave, employee databases, and HRIS.
Coordinate payroll processing with the payroll/accounts team.
Manage employee onboarding, transfers, promotions, and exits.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

4. Performance Management

Coordinate the annual and periodic performance appraisal process.
Establish and monitor KPIs/KRAs in coordination with department heads.
Identify performance gaps and support performance improvement plans.
Assist management in employee development and succession planning.

5. Learning & Development

Identify employee training and development needs.
Plan and coordinate training programs.
Monitor training effectiveness and employee development.
Support career development and succession planning initiatives.

6. HR Compliance

Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
Maintain statutory and employee-related records.
Coordinate with legal/consulting professionals where required.
Ensure HR policies are implemented consistently across the organization.

7. Employee Engagement & Culture

Plan employee engagement activities and initiatives.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Conduct employee satisfaction/engagement surveys.
Support organizational culture-building initiatives.

8. HR Reporting & Analytics

Prepare regular HR reports for management.
Track recruitment, attrition, absenteeism, headcount, and employee costs.
Analyze HR data and provide actionable recommendations to management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.
5–8 years of relevant HR experience.
Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
Good understanding of applicable labor and employment regulations.
Experience with HRMS/HRIS and Microsoft Office.
