Job Description- HR MANAGER

INTRODUCTION

Since 2012 Tru Prime Pvt. Ltd. has operated Punjab’s largest 2000 head dairy farm, mostly HF, at Majara about 32km from and 8 km from Ahmedgarh.

The company now seeks to diversify into growing chamber multi-tier organic mushroom cultivation using captive cow manure as the principal substrate component.

The venture will consist of multiple growing chambers cultivating a variety of mushrooms, including button, oyster, paddy straw and shiitake using internally generated spawn and industry leading practices.

The company will also develop and cultivate medicinal mushrooms.

Spent mushroom substrate (SMS) will be processed in an accompanying vermicomposting facility.

The company will service both domestic and international markets, with exports dominating from year 3.

Company products will be both packaged / branded and bulk for institutional customers.

The company will develop partner farms with the supply of turnkey facilities and inoculated substrate and the buyback of SMS and bulk mushrooms.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The position is based at the Plant in Village Majara (Mandi Ahmedgarh). The incumbent will be expected to build group ethos among employees of its constituents Tru Prime Pvt. Ltd. This is a generalist hands on HR Management Role. Manager HR will report to Vice President-HR.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

Planning smooth working of establishment and personnel administration.
Reviewing performance review of employees.
Managing and reviewing yearly appraisals.
Salary and Wages administration.
Maintaining attendance and leave records.
Managing employee grievances.
To maintain harmonious industrial relations and look after grievance.
Generate MIS / reports of HR department.
Prepare personal policies, health and safety policy, on site and off site emergency plans.
Statutory legal compliances and submission of various Statutory Returns under various Labor Laws.
Handling all legal/labor issues of the organization
Manage TPPL Security, Transport, Inventory issued to staff and Guest House allocation.
Maintain good relations with government authorities, labor and factory departments and compliances thereof.
Liaise with local authorities, labor, factory, and P.F. & insurance department for WC.
Manage housekeeping of the company
Managing housekeeping, pantry and canteen.
Looking after employee welfare.
Managing stationary and grocery on a monthly basis.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

MBA with minimum 10+ years of experience in HR and Personnel Management.
Must have experience of working in a manufacturing environment
Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills will be considered an asset for this position.
Must have firsthand experience of managing HR for large teams minimum 500.
The applicant must have had adequate experience of working with organizations that work with well documented, quantifiable targets and have monitoring and reward mechanisms with proven results
High-energy and team-oriented.
Must have rich knowledge of Factory acts and other Labour laws with statutory compliance.
Ability to make recommendations and work independently on most projects and programs
The applicant must have demonstrated success in conflict management and negotiations.
The applicant must be able to make personnel policies, health and safety policy, on site or off site emergency plans.
The applicant must be able to make harmonious industrial relations and look after grievance.
