Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Regional Business Manager to lead business development and sales operations across the Delhi NCR region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding the distribution network, appointing new distributors, building and leading a high-performing sales team, increasing market share, and driving profitable business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Identify new market opportunities and expand the company's presence across Delhi NCR.
Drive revenue growth and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Distributor Development

Identify, evaluate, and appoint new distributors in potential markets.
Strengthen relationships with existing distributors to improve business performance.
Ensure distributor profitability, inventory management, and market coverage.
Monitor distributor performance and implement corrective action plans where required.

Team Building & Leadership

Recruit, train, mentor, and develop Sales Officers, Territory Sales Executives, and Sales Representatives.
Set sales targets and KPIs for the regional sales team.
Conduct regular performance reviews, market visits, and coaching sessions.
Build a high-performance, result-driven sales culture.

Market Development

Increase dealer and retailer network across the region.
Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis.
Launch promotional activities and branding initiatives to improve product visibility.
Develop strong relationships with architects, contractors, builders, and institutional customers.

Sales Operations

Monitor daily sales activities and regional performance.
Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and MIS reports.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain healthy receivables.
Coordinate with supply chain, marketing, and customer support teams for smooth operations.

Customer Relationship Management

Maintain strong relationships with key distributors, dealers, and institutional clients.
Resolve customer concerns promptly and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for key account development.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field (MBA preferred).
8–15 years of sales experience in the Paint, Building Materials, or Construction Chemicals industry.
Proven experience in distributor appointment and channel sales management.
Demonstrated success in building and leading regional sales teams.
