Full job description

Alastor is looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with experience in medical billing, healthcare sales, or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

The primary responsibility of this position is to generate new business and acquire new healthcare clients for our medical billing services.

We are looking for someone who understands the U.S. healthcare market and can identify, approach, and convert physicians, medical practices, clinics, and healthcare organizations into long-term clients.

This is a sales-focused position, and success will be measured primarily by qualified leads, meetings scheduled, proposals generated, and new clients signed.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate new leads for medical billing and RCM services.
Prospect physicians, medical practices, clinics, urgent care centers, specialty practices, and other healthcare organizations.
Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other appropriate channels.
Connect with physicians, practice owners, practice managers, administrators, and other decision-makers.
Schedule qualified sales meetings and discovery calls.
Understand prospective clients' current billing challenges and identify opportunities where Alastor can provide solutions.
Present Alastor's medical billing and RCM services professionally.
Prepare and follow up on proposals and service opportunities.
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients throughout the sales cycle.
Develop referral relationships and strategic partnerships that can generate new business.
Maintain an organized sales pipeline and provide regular updates on leads, meetings, proposals, and conversions.
Work closely with management and the operations team during client onboarding.
Monitor competitors and identify new opportunities within the medical billing and RCM market.

Target Clients

The BDM will primarily target:

Independent physicians
Primary care practices
Specialty medical practices
Multispecialty practices
Urgent care centers
Behavioral health practices
Physical therapy and rehabilitation practices
Outpatient healthcare organizations
New medical practices requiring billing support
Existing practices looking to outsource or change their billing company

Required Qualifications

Experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in Medical Billing, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Healthcare BPO, or Healthcare Sales.
Understanding of the U.S. healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
Ability to independently generate leads rather than relying only on company-provided leads.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Comfortable with cold calling and outbound prospecting.
Ability to communicate professionally with physicians, practice managers, and healthcare executives.
Strong sales closing and relationship-building skills.
Goal-oriented and comfortable working with monthly performance targets.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with existing relationships or a professional network within the U.S. healthcare industry will be strongly preferred.

Performance may be measured based on:

Number of new prospects contacted
Qualified leads generated
Sales meetings booked
Proposals submitted
Lead-to-client conversion rate
New medical practices signed
Monthly/quarterly revenue generated
Client acquisition targets achieved

Compensation

Salary: Rs. 60,000 / Month

Incentives: 10% one-time commission based on the first month's cleared revenue from the successfully acquired client.

Our ideal BDM is someone who does not simply wait for inbound leads.

We are looking for a proactive business developer who knows how to find healthcare prospects, reach decision-makers, build relationships, consistently follow up, and convert opportunities into signed medical billing clients.
