Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic and result-driven Technical Sales Executive to join our growing team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, understanding client requirements, and selling our software development services and technology solutions.

You will work closely with prospects to understand their business challenges, present tailored technical solutions, and close deals. This role requires a blend of sales skills and technical understanding—you don’t need to code, but you must be comfortable discussing software development, cloud platforms, and digital transformation with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify and research potential clients across industries including startups, SMEs, and enterprises.
Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, and referrals.
Qualify inbound inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.

2. Client Engagement & Discovery

Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand client business goals, pain points, and technical requirements.
Present Exaltt Core Technologies’ service offerings in a clear, compelling, and consultative manner.
Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and solution demos.

3. Sales Closure & Account Management

Negotiate pricing, project scope, and timelines with decision-makers.
Close deals and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Maintain strong post-sale relationships to ensure client satisfaction and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

4. Collaboration & Coordination

Work closely with the technical delivery team to ensure accurate project scoping and estimation.
Provide client feedback to the product and development teams to improve service offerings.
Coordinate with marketing on campaigns, case studies, and lead generation activities.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in IT sales, software services sales, or technology consulting.
Technical Awareness: Basic understanding of software development, web/mobile applications, cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP) , and enterprise systems.
Sales Skills: Proven ability to generate leads, conduct cold outreach, and close deals.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Tamil is a plus.
Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver professional presentations and proposals.

Preferred (Good to Have)

Prior experience selling custom software development or IT services.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
Understanding of agile development methodologies.
Existing network of business contacts in Tamil Nadu or across India.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Number of qualified leads generated per month.
Conversion rate from inquiry to closed deal.
Monthly/Quarterly revenue targets achieved.
Average deal size and client retention rates.
Pipeline health (number of active opportunities).
