Full job description

About Role:

To lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Control activities, Internal Audits, Non-Conformance Management, Customer Complaint Handling, KPI Monitoring, and EHS compliance to ensure organizational quality objectives, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Quality Management System (QMS)

Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
Ensure compliance with AS9120, EMS, OH&S, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Define and monitor departmental quality objectives aligned with organizational goals.
Drive continual improvement initiatives across departments.

2. Quality Planning & Risk Management

Prepare quality plans for new projects, products, and operational activities.
Conduct risk assessments and identify mitigation strategies for quality-related risks.
Monitor process effectiveness and implement preventive measures.
Ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are effectively implemented.

3. Document Control & Compliance

Manage quality documentation including SOPs, Work Instructions, Policies, Procedures, Formats, and Records.
Ensure proper version control, approval, revision tracking, and accessibility of documents.
Maintain centralized document control systems and ensure confidentiality where applicable.

4. Quality Control Operations

Oversee Incoming Material Inspection, In-Process Inspection, and Final Product Inspection activities.
Ensure products and materials comply with customer specifications and quality standards.
Monitor inspection reports, test records, and quality data.
Ensure timely identification and resolution of quality deviations.

5. Internal Audit Management

Prepare and execute annual internal audit plans and schedules.
Conduct internal audits for Quality and EHS Management Systems.
Review previous audit findings and pending non-conformances.
Issue audit reports, observations, and non-conformance reports.
Ensure timely closure and effectiveness of corrective actions.

6. Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Management

Lead investigation of non-conformance incidents and customer complaints.
Conduct root cause analysis using quality tools and methodologies.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, customers, and external agencies for resolution.

7. Customer Complaint & Quality Issue Handling

Manage customer quality concerns, complaints, feedback, and technical queries.
Coordinate Return Material Authorization (RMA), scrap approvals, and customer notifications.
Ensure complaint closure within defined timelines.
Maintain customer satisfaction through timely communication and resolution.
Prepare and share investigation and corrective action reports with customers when required.

8. Management Review Meeting (MRM)

Plan and conduct Management Review Meetings as per defined frequency.
Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, and MOMs for review meetings.
Monitor action items, target dates, and status updates.
Escalate delays or critical quality issues to management.

9. KPI, MIS & Performance Monitoring

Review departmental MIS reports and KPIs regularly.
Identify performance gaps, deviations, and process inefficiencies.
Raise non-conformance where KPI targets are not achieved.
Recommend process improvements and revised performance targets.

10. EHS Management Support

Monitor EMS and OH&S related reports and KPIs.
Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and reporting systems.
Coordinate with Safety Officer and management on deviations and corrective actions.

11. Training & Awareness

Conduct Quality, AS9120, EMS, and OH&S awareness programs.
Lead employee training related to quality systems and compliance.
Promote organizational knowledge sharing and quality awareness culture.
Support induction training for new employees
