Full job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our US business operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with exceptional analytical capabilities, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams. This role requires someone who can drive operational efficiency, improve business processes, analyze performance metrics, and ensure seamless coordination between our India support office and US leadership.

The Operations Manager will play a critical role in enhancing productivity, maintaining service excellence, and supporting the continued growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day operations supporting US business units.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Supervise, mentor, and motivate team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Monitor daily operational KPIs and prepare comprehensive performance reports for senior management.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and operational bottlenecks.
Create and maintain advanced Excel dashboards, reports, scorecards, and business trackers.
Ensure timely completion of operational tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
Coordinate with US leadership and multiple departments to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational workflows.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Track productivity, labor utilization, scheduling, attendance, and operational performance.
Lead process improvement initiatives using data-driven decision-making.
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational guidelines, and quality standards.
Manage escalations professionally and provide timely resolution.
Support business expansion projects, acquisitions, and new operational initiatives.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with actionable insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Commerce, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Operations Management, preferably supporting US-based businesses.
Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
Pivot Tables
XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
INDEX-MATCH
Power Query
Power Pivot
Advanced formulas
Dashboard creation
Data visualization
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with reporting tools and business analytics.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to make informed decisions based on data and operational insights.
