Job Description – Business Development Manager

Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Reu Ads is a full-service advertising and digital marketing agency providing growth strategy, branding, creative advertising, performance marketing, social media management, SEO, website development, media planning, and content production services.

We work with clients across industries including healthcare, hospitality, education, information technology, construction, real estate, tourism, finance, and professional services.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition and revenue growth for Reu Ads in Kerala.

The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships with decision-makers, understanding business requirements, coordinating proposal development, presenting suitable advertising and marketing solutions, negotiating commercial terms, and closing new business opportunities.

The role requires a strong understanding of consultative selling, digital marketing, advertising services, and the Kerala business market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Identify and approach prospective clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, industry events, and other lead-generation channels.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across Kerala.
Arrange meetings with business owners, directors, marketing heads, and other key decision-makers.
Understand the client’s business, target audience, current marketing challenges, growth objectives, and budget.
Recommend appropriate services such as branding, creative advertising, Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, social media management, website development, video production, and marketing automation.
Prepare client briefs and coordinate with the strategy, digital marketing, creative, technology, and operations teams to develop proposals and quotations.
Present proposals, campaign ideas, agency credentials, case studies, and commercial offers to prospective clients.
Negotiate pricing, scope of work, timelines, payment terms, and contractual conditions.
Follow up consistently with prospects and convert qualified opportunities into signed agreements.
Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, proposals, follow-ups, sales stages, expected revenue, and closures in the CRM or lead tracker.
Develop strategic partnerships with consultants, technology companies, healthcare providers, event companies, media partners, and other referral sources.
Conduct market research to identify emerging industries, competitor activities, client requirements, and new business opportunities.
Coordinate the smooth handover of newly acquired clients to the client servicing and operations teams.
Support client retention, account expansion, contract renewals, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports for management.
Represent Reu Ads professionally at meetings, networking events, exhibitions, conferences, and business forums.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in business development, advertising sales, digital marketing sales, media sales, IT services, consulting, or professional services.
Proven experience in achieving sales targets and closing B2B service contracts.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, advertising, websites, social media, SEO, and paid advertising services.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into commercially viable solutions.
Strong professional network within the Kerala business community will be an advantage.
Experience working with healthcare, hospitality, education, real estate, construction, or information technology clients will be preferred.
Ability to independently manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure.
Strong follow-up discipline and experience using CRM or sales-tracking systems.
Proficiency in English and Malayalam.
Willingness to travel within Kerala for client meetings and business development activities.
Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle will be an advantage.
