Full job description

Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused, and target-driven professionals to join our Customer Engagement team. The Customer Engagement Associate/Lead will be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities through tele-calling, engaging with educational institutions, supporting the field sales team, scheduling product demonstrations, and ensuring timely follow-up with prospective customers. The role combines tele sales, customer relationship management, lead nurturing, and sales coordination to maximize business conversions.

Salary Range:

Customer Engagement Associate: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience) + Performance Incentives
Customer Engagement Lead: ₹28,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Based on experience) + Performance Incentives

Key Responsibilities

Tele Sales & Lead Generation

Contact educational institutions through outbound calls
Introduce Educrib
Generate interest and qualify prospective customers
Explain platform features and business benefits
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling and conversion targets

Lead Qualification & Appointment Scheduling

Identify decision-makers within educational institutions
Qualify leads based on business potential and requirements
Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the Field Sales team
Coordinate appointments and ensure smooth handover of qualified leads

Sales Support

Assist the sales team with lead allocation and follow-up
Coordinate proposal sharing and customer communications
Support documentation required during the sales process
Follow up with prospects after demonstrations to address queries and encourage conversions

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain positive relationships with institutions
Respond promptly to customer enquiries
Ensure timely follow-up on pending opportunities
Maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey

CRM & Reporting

Update all customer interactions in the CRM
Record call outcomes, follow-ups, meeting schedules, and customer feedback
Maintain accurate lead status and pipeline information
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports

Coordination

Work closely with Business Development Executives, Business Development Managers, Operations, and Customer Support teams
Ensure smooth communication between customers and internal teams
Escalate customer concerns whenever required

Daily Activity Expectations

Make 80–120 outbound calls per day
Generate qualified sales opportunities
Schedule product demonstrations for the Field Sales team
Follow up with existing prospects
Update CRM before the end of each working day

Experience interacting with educational institutions

Knowledge of sales processes and lead management
Excellent communication skills in English and the local language
Positive attitude with a customer-first approach
Strong follow-up and persuasion skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Team player with good coordination skills

Language Requirements

Malayalam – Mandatory
English – Mandatory
Hindi – Preferred
Knowledge of additional South Indian languages (Tamil, Kannada, or Telugu) will be an added advantage.

Eligibility

Education

Bachelor's Degree in any discipline; MBA/BBA graduates are preferred but not mandatory.

Experience – Customer Engagement Associate

0–2 years of experience in Tele Sales, Customer Support, Inside Sales, Customer Service, BPO, or EdTech. Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Experience – Customer Engagement Lead

2–5 years of experience in Tele Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Engagement, or Team Handling. Prior experience in lead generation, customer relationship management, and mentoring team members is preferred.
