We are looking for an ambitious and commercially strong Business Development Manager to help expand our B2B client base across India.

This is not a traditional telecalling or lead-follow-up position.

We are looking for someone who can independently find prospects, reach decision-makers, create business opportunities, conduct client meetings, understand requirements, present solutions, negotiate and close B2B deals.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and research potential B2B clients across India.
Generate new business through cold calling, LinkedIn, email, networking, referrals, field visits, events and partnerships.
Build relationships with founders, business owners, directors, CXOs and senior decision-makers.
Conduct face-to-face and virtual client meetings.
Understand business, operational and technology requirements.
Identify opportunities for AI, automation, software, ERP, CRM and digital transformation solutions.
Present Tec Tha solutions based on client requirements and business objectives.
Coordinate with internal technical teams for demonstrations and solution discussions.
Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial presentations.
Handle objections and commercial negotiations.
Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting → meeting → proposal → negotiation → closing → payment.
Maintain a strong and continuously growing sales pipeline.
Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly business-development targets.
Maintain accurate sales records, follow-ups and forecasts.
Develop long-term client relationships and identify repeat-business, upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a sales hunter and business builder, not simply someone with a Business Development Manager title.

You should be able to demonstrate that you can:

Find prospects → Reach decision-makers → Generate meetings → Understand business needs → Present solutions → Negotiate → Close → Generate revenue

Required:

3–6 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
Proven experience in acquiring new B2B clients.
Experience managing the complete sales cycle.
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Confidence dealing with founders, directors and senior management.
Ability to generate leads independently rather than relying only on company-provided leads.
Strong follow-up and pipeline-management discipline.
Comfortable with field sales and business travel.
Professional English communication.
Self-motivated, commercially aware and target-oriented.
Strong ownership and accountability.

What Matters Most

Your previous job title is less important than your actual sales performance.

We want to know:

How many new clients you personally acquired.
Your average deal size.
Your largest personally closed B2B deal.
Your approximate revenue contribution.
How much of your business was self-generated.
The industries and decision-makers you have sold to.
Your experience handling negotiations and complex sales cycles.

During the interview, you may be asked to explain a real deal you personally closed, including how you found the prospect, reached the decision-maker, understood the requirement, handled objections, negotiated and closed the business.

Compensation

₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month + Uncapped Performance Incentives

Final salary will depend on experience, proven sales performance, client-acquisition record, deal size, industry knowledge, communication, negotiation ability and closing capability.

Exceptional candidates with a proven record of personally closing B2B technology or enterprise deals may be considered for a higher package.

Approved business travel and client-meeting expenses will be handled separately according to company policy.

International Business Development

As Tec Tha expands internationally, the selected candidate may also participate in international prospecting, LinkedIn and email outreach, overseas client meetings, international proposals, partnerships and business development.

The immediate priority of this role is Indian B2B client acquisition.
