Production Planning & Order Management
- Receive sales orders from Off Duty India and convert them into detailed production plans covering cutting, stitching, washing, and finishing
- Plan production across in-house operations and job worker network simultaneously — ensuring no bottlenecks or idle capacity
- Set realistic timelines for each stage of production and communicate delivery commitments to the Factory Head
- Monitor daily production progress against plan — identify delays early and take corrective action before they cascade
- Maintain a live production tracker covering all active orders, current stage, quantity at each stage, and expected delivery date
- Use ERP forecasting module to plan raw material requirements based on upcoming sales orders — coordinate with the ERP Executive to raise POs in advance
02
Job Worker Coordination & Follow-Up
- Manage the full job worker network across cutting, stitching, washing, and finishing — 70% of production is outsourced
- Issue work orders to job workers with clear quantities, timelines, and quality specifications
- Follow up daily with job workers on production status — do not rely on verbal updates, verify physically or through QC dispatches
- Track job worker performance — on-time delivery rate, rejection rate, quality consistency — and maintain a vendor performance record
- Escalate to Factory Head if any job worker is consistently underperforming or causing delays
- Note: Price negotiation with job workers is NOT part of this role — that is handled separately by management
03
Quality Control Management
- Dispatch QC personnel to job worker facilities at every defined checkpoint — do not accept verbal status updates from vendors
- QC checkpoints to be enforced at every stage: Cutting QC, Stitching QC, Wash Sample Approval (2 pieces), Wash Lot Approval (25-30 pieces), Bulk Wash QC, and Post Finishing Final QC
- Review QC reports and take immediate action on rejections — determine whether to rework, replace, or escalate
- Ensure all QC outcomes are entered into the ERP system by the ERP Executive with pass/fail quantities, rejection reason, and rework status
- Maintain a QC rejection log and identify recurring issues — work with job workers to address root causes
- Ensure finished goods dispatched to Off Duty meet brand quality standards without exception
04
In-House Production Management
- Oversee in-house stitching and finishing operations — 30% of total production volume
- Ensure in-house team has the right materials, instructions, and capacity to meet daily production targets
- Coordinate with the Cutting department to ensure smooth flow of cut pieces to in-house stitching
- Monitor in-house quality standards and ensure they match or exceed job worker quality levels
- Identify capacity constraints in in-house operations and flag to Factory Head with recommendations
05
ERP Oversight & System Accuracy
- Oversee the ERP Executive's daily entries — ensure all sales orders, work orders, POs, GRNs, STNs, and stage movements are entered accurately and on time
- Cross-check system inventory against physical inventory regularly — flag and resolve all discrepancies immediately
- Participate in monthly physical inventory verification and sign off on reconciliation reports
- Ensure all dispatch documentation — e-way bills and invoices — are generated correctly before goods leave the factory
- Use ERP reports daily to monitor production status, inventory levels, and job worker order progress
- Lead the evaluation and selection of a new ERP system suited to MSK Fashion's garment manufacturing requirements — shortlist 2-3 options, present recommendation to management, and oversee implementation
06
Raw Material Planning & Forecasting
- Analyse upcoming sales orders from Off Duty and forecast raw material requirements — fabric, trims, accessories — for the next 30-60 days
- Use the ERP forecasting module to generate material requirements planning (MRP) reports
- Ensure the ERP Executive raises purchase orders in advance of production requirements — no last-minute RM shortages
- Monitor raw material inventory levels and flag low-stock situations before they impact production
- Coordinate with the merchandiser for BOM accuracy — correct BOM is the foundation of accurate forecasting
07
Reporting & Communication
- Submit a daily production status report to the Factory Head — covering orders in progress, current stage, quantities completed, delays flagged, and expected delivery dates
- Report must be based on verified information — not vendor self-reporting
- Escalate critical delays, quality failures, or capacity issues to management immediately — do not wait for the daily report
- Maintain weekly production summaries showing planned vs actual output across all departments
- Provide monthly performance report covering job worker on-time delivery rate, rejection rate, ERP accuracy, and inventory reconciliation outcome
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Level
Qualification
Preferred Specialisation
Minimum
Bachelor's Degree
Any discipline — preference for candidates with technical or management background
Preferred

From NIFT, DKTE, or any recognised textile institute
Preferred
MBA / PGDM in Operations
Supply Chain, Production Management, or Operations Management
Additional
Certification in ERP Systems
Ginesys, SAP, Oracle, Tally Manufacturing Module, or equivalent
Note: Educational qualification is secondary to relevant industry experience. A candidate with 7+ years of hands-on garment production management experience will be considered over a highly qualified candidate with limited floor experience.
