We're on the lookout for a meticulous Production Engineer to contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional machining & surface finishing solutions in the dynamic energy industry.

Job description

The Production Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and relevant API Specifications (API 6A, 5CT, and 7-2). The role ensures all manufacturing and service activities comply with international quality standards and customer requirements, while promoting continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for oilfield products, equipment, and components.
Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and lower operating costs.
Coordinate with procurement, inventory, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and quality management systems.
Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Prepare production schedules, capacity plans, and resource allocation strategies.
Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support new product introduction, process validation, and production trials.
Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and company policies.
Generate production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics for management review.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Train and support production personnel on process improvements and operational best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or operations within the oilfield services or industrial sector.
Knowledge of oilfield equipment manufacturing, machining, fabrication, assembly, or pressure-control equipment is preferred.
Familiarity with quality standards such as API Standards, ISO 9001, and HSE requirements.
Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.
Strong knowledge in Engineering drawing/CAD/CAM software.
